I have no interest in comparing Hitler and Assad. His statement was absurd and completely uninformed.

Yes, Trump the imbecile that claims he won the popular vote if you discount the illegal immigrants that voted, that his inauguration was the largest ever. That his electoral college win was the largest since Reagan. Who complained about Obama's golfing habits yet dwarfing their frequency since he became President (at his own golf courses where he pockets the millions per trip!!). Who pleaded for Obama not to get involved in Syria who decided to lob $100mill of ordnance, possibly on the whim of his daughter. And who said that Obama numbers in a tailspin will cause him to launch a strike - as he threatens a war on North Korea.

Yes, that imbecile.

Most of those points are that far-gone it's not even worth debating - already did that 40 or so pages back.

In regards what Trump said about Syria, if its the same statement, that was said in 2012/13? - plenty has changed in the last 4 weeks let alone 4 years!!!!!

As for the Golf card you keep going on about, Obama played 333 rounds in his 8 years.
This needs a little update but you get the picture:
http://obamagolfcounter.com/

The entire Iran/NK mess we are in now could almost be attributed to the last administration

Yeh still happy with Trump over the pathological liar and demonstrably corrupt Clinton but that's major stuff by Spicer. Why even go there guess he meant on civilians but what does that matter when they wiped out so many by other means in cruel circumstnces. Germans def used gas in combat obviously.

I am literally gobsmacked. Trump has done nothing but lie his entire life, throughout the entire campaign and his whole reign as President to date. I'm struggling to find anything that he's been truthful about that he hasn't read off a teleprompter, written by someone else.

His administration reeks of corruption and collusion with the Russians that gets stinkier every day!

It's as if we're living in two different realities. Even his son in law forgets meetings he's had with Russians...!

Here you go, a website that tracks whoppers. They even break down every claim with an analysis. FWIW, I believe there's an au version as well.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/

Trump;

http://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/

Currently running at 4% as true. 30% is you tally true, mostly true and half true. 16% pants on fire!

Compared to Clinton.

http://www.politifact.com/personalit...llary-clinton/

25% true. 75% if you add mostly and half true. 2% pants on fire.

...and Hillary is the pathological liar?!

How dare you let the truth get in the way of a bad haircut!

Trump doesn't lie,,, just trots out alternative facts.

Why are you linking to politicfact very partisan site?

Trump is the better of 2 very poor candidates in fact the two worst in history. I never claimed Trump didn't lie, I said Clinton is a pathological liar and corrupt.

The funny thing is that Trump is more a Democrat than GOP, he just ran as a Republican. You get your good and bad Trump and I accept that in preference to Clinton.

The pay to play Clinton foundation just beggars belief and let's not excuse liblab here who all up put 620million into Clinton.

As much as you run round linking to discredit Trump at the end of the day you have fluff no evidence he worked with Russia and nothing to impeach.

meanwhile, actual evidence of wrongdoing against St Obama's admin is slowly emerging. Unmasking while not illegal lead to leaking and that is illegal.

According to politifact the GOP tells 9 lies to every Dem lie on its own data.

Remember when Trump tweeted look at what's happening in Sweden and the press all came out and said Sweden what is he on about good as gold over there led by the Swedish PM

Bet politifact chalked up a lie.

The Swedish PM today, " terrorists want us to be afraid to not live our lives normally, but that is what we will do".

This weekend or the days after could be interesting if fatboy decides to launch a missile.

Given that Trump has already ordered a missile strike in Syria (basically telling Russia to get ****ed in the process), it seems likely the US would have little worry about blowing it out of the sky which would be a significant escalation.

Not partisan if it finds Trump lies more than Clinton. Funny thing about that site, it's been called non-partisan by both sides at various times.

Trump's claims about Sweden wasn't a tweet, it was said in a rally (of all things - he's already the President, his ego is so fragile he needs to hold more rallies because his numbers are crashing) about 'what happened in Sweden last night'. Nothing had happened in Sweden 'last night'. Because something happened weeks later by a suspect not from the regions he was proposing travel bans, that makes his statement true? Though, we should take a moment to remember those lost in the Bowling Green Massacre.

I'm no Clinton supporter.. but I think she'd make a much better leader than Trump. I'd have to think long and hard to pick a worse candidate. Drain the swamp? Even his cabinet picks make it look like he's taking the ****.

The investigation on how deep the Russians have infiltrated the Whitehouse is still on-going. He surrounded then distanced himself from several 'compromised' people that have all forgotten meetings they've had, has had questionable business dealings with Russian lenders and flatly refuses to release his tax returns. Gee, I wonder why that is?

Latest one? Carter Page - FBI had a FISA warrant on him. You don't get one of those easily - it was also extended.

Probably a single ****ed up individual and associates wanting limelight.

For the west to respond.

I don't for one minute believe that Assad could have been so unbelievably
stupid to have ordered a chemical attack at this stage of overcoming the "Rebels". He's smarter thn that and more intelligent than Trump.
Very nice excuse for Trump to show some brawn without ANY disclosed
Or proven evidence as to who did it and why.

Who to believe?

Not even 100 days in office and the Human Dumpling has been threatening them with Nukes for years.

Plenty has changed in Syria, and globally - have you seen the refugee crisis? Have you taken notice of some of the major towns in Syria? - they resemble the shells of buildings in in Berlin in 1945 - half the country will need a complete rebuild at best. And the civilian death toll?

As for me ignoring Iran and NK pre- Obama Administration? Got nothing to do with the current escalation - been plenty of bad blood for decades. I'm talking about the nuclear capabilities of the said countries.

Given that the Chinese government has given Trump a free pass through the Chinese Sea to place it's warship off the SK coast incase that lunatic NK leader thinks about launching another missile.

The US Naval fleet is admirable and the most powerful fleet in the world. No other country comes close. China spends $160 billion per year on defense; the US spends $600 billion. They have a lot of toys with that money.

Russia will sit back, as will the Chinese. Neither have any interest in coming to NK's defense; it's leader is a crackpot.

Given the DNC did nothing over the last 8 years other than inflame tensions in the ME and with Russia, Trump is looking at a resolution on two fronts;

1. Sort out the NK leader
2. End the US funded ISIS and the gateway for ISIS to Europe by dealing with Erdogan and Turkey through Syria.

Assad won't be asked to stand down until the Russians, US, and possibly China, have dealt with IS.

Interesting times ahead.

Hey mcflux is back

With your concern for innocent civilians you must be right behind the US and its aims to replace Assad re chemical weapons attack.

After all you were super quick to condemn Trump with no evidence.

The chemical weapons attack is Syrian in origin and at best was carried out by a rogue general and at worst was carried out with the Russians knowledge

Give us your insights into the situation.

Refugee exodus aside, Syria itself was the exact same s***storm in 2012.

Gudday

Imagine going back to 2003 when the US aimed to replace Saddam re WMDs. (note Saddam had also undertaken chemical weapons attacks years if not decades prior). How'd that turn out? I'm hesitant to see Assad removed however I do not support his regime one bit. I can't think of a solution regarding the Assad regime however ISIS needs to be dealt with as they're barbarians. What happened to Trump's declarations of dealing with ISIS? What's your solution?

Trump's single salvo fired off into a Syrian airbase (that was in use again within hours) & then full steam ahead to NK hasn't changed anything in Syria for now. And now the world's focus shifts to NK/China..

Give us your insights into the situation.

If you read my posts they have said not much has changed so I'm in agreement with your post. iSIS is the main game deal with Assad Russians later.

Robp read the link provided in my original post. However, further digging shows that article uses cherry picked stats to mak a more sensational point. it's actually 2-3 to 1 which is still significant bias. You could argue that conservatives are just more often wrong but that's BS.
