I would buy a modified pursuit ute for a runabout and daily although i ride to work everyday. And the rest i would spend doing up a XE sedan alloy headed stoker, manual etc myself and tools to do it myself. Would still love a nice neat V8 XE. Would sell the XY and buy one if i could find one and get the right money for the XY so i could have some money left after the XE was purchased.

S600 1998 Mercedes for $70,000 and bank the rest. Argueably the best car ever built, since when has a manafacturer spent 1 billion dollars on development???????????? Mind you this was before globalisation really rared its head and put pay to these great bohemoths. Current bmw-merc no better then falcon/commo.
Screw FORD's and HOLDEN's are friggin peasants cars. People paying $800,000 for rusty buckets with boat anchors under the hoods (GTHO). What a price to pay to recapture some former glory!!!! There are times when sentiment needs to take a back seat. |

I think some of you guys need to re-read the first post; they're supposed to be stock standard new or used. You can't supercharge, turbocharge, drop in a big block or make a street machine out of them lol.
If we're talking bog stock then either a Force 6 or Force 8 or a GT-P if I want a manual, with all the trimmings. Or a new model 'stang. Geez, most of the sort of cars I'm interested in aren't expensive and I want to modify them in some way lol. A modded 93 Fox Mustang Cobra, stroked and supercharged, and essentially modded from the ground up. Or a Saleen S351 will do. (thats a mid 90s supercharged 351 powered Mustang for all those who dont know. And thats how they were produced, it's not modded).
