Yep this thread was done ages ago, along with this pic i posted on the other thread, in this pic they managed to capture a section of their boot lid with some gear on it.

The storage space required for Google Earth is mindboggling. I'll have to add it to my todo list to see what sort of hardware and what capacity they're using.

Over 142 Terabytes of storage in street pics alone , If I remember rightly ~~, that was a while ago now though , probably way more by now ! .

Oh, is that all?

I'm rather dissapointed now.. :( I helped install 2 Petabyte appliances a couple of weeks back, I'd have though Google would have absolutely dwarfed that.

i love google earth.
I love being a nosey bugger and looking around the streets i live.
The whole thing needs updating.
Its still got my mums car in the driveway of our place when we used to live in the uk over 3 years ago lol
