Update:
The Coachman is unavailable for the weekend of the Meet.
The entire hotel is booked out by the Early Falcon Club which are holding there show the same weekend.

We can still book the bistro there for Saturday night dinner if you want to go ahead with that?

I can call around other hotel/motels for availability of accommodation for those who need it?

Hotels/Motels in the area still available:

Hamiltons Henry Parkes Motor Inn (17 rooms available and tentatively held)
Prices start at $105pn
Just around the corner from the Coachman Hotel.
02 98624644 or FREECALL: 1800 021 251 ask for Elizabeth and tell her your with the B-Series Owners Club of Australia.

Bushmans Motor Inn (30 rooms available.)
Prices start from $120pn
02 6862 2199 or FREECALL: 1800 807 914 ask for Terry and tell him your with the B-Series Owners Club of Australia.

It's up to you guys to pick where you want to stay and to make the bookings.

Parkes has a few things happening that weekend such as the Early Falcons Car Club get together, a bike show of some sorts, people traveling for the Swap Meet, and also those from the CWCC staying in town. As time goes on being able to pick and choose where you want to stay is going to become increasingly difficult, like we've seen with The Coachman being booked out and it's still 5 months away.

Sorry Clay, it's early days yet so I'm sure something will come up on the net for the Early Falcon Club. I don't know the details about the bike show, was only told of it's happening by one of the accommodation places I called.
The swap meet is part of the weekend that CWCC are putting on.

Thats the trouble with early Falcons: always early!

Hey that's another car show in town that weekend - bigger than Ben Hur.

I spoke with CWCC last night and they tell me that there will be at least 5 car clubs including our own who will be participating in the show.

I believe they said the Commodore Car Club, Old Ford Series Club, Vintage Car Club, Central West Car Club and us...B-Series Owners Club of Aust Parkes Motor Meet.

There is no limit on car spots available for the show as it's held at Pioneer Oval which as I'm told is quite large, so the more cars we can get there the better.

The Early Falcon Car Club are holding their show on Sunday at the showground.

Also an invitation has been extended to anyone wanting to bring stuff along for the swap meet held on Sunday at the showground.

Parkes Motor Meet flyer and entry form are waiting to go up on www.bseries.com.au. Once they are there we can promote the Meet around the forums etc.

Got a call last night from CWCC to touch base and see how the planning side of things were going.

So......How is everyone going? put in for holidays yet? accommodation sorted? started the 'my shout' saving fund? :

Entry forms really do need to be sent off as soon as you can. Entry fee is set at $20 per car.
$15 of that goes to CWCC and the remaining $5 will be pooled to purchase trophies for our group.
