My faves:

Current era:

Coupe 4, Gts Coupe, Maloo R8

Classic & Post classic era:

HJ-HX Sandman

I have actually owned several of the old rockets, e.g. HG GTS monaro, 307 premier etc but unfortunately my memories were permently tarnished when I had the chance to drive one (monaro) late last year.

Looked great but what a rough, ill handling piece of crap it was.
To be fair I also drove a '63 'stang and a XW GT, they were just as bad....

You do realise that these comments are usually made to get a reaction from you ? So far they have hadd 100% success.
It's a Ford forum, there will be people that are one eyed, just ignore them and communicate with the people that aren't like that. It'll make it easier for everyone.

My wife's VY SV8. Still doesn't sound as good as my windsor though.

Tough decision.

For older school, the late 1960's Monaros sure look hot (as do the HQ's), but for newer cars, I'd certainly be happy with a Gen3 VT2 Clubsport (don't mind the VT2-VX SS, or even the VT Calais either, or the series 1 new Monaro CV8's). Went for a ride in a mate's new manual VX SS a few days ago, that thing flies.

VL / VN - i can't stand them, dunno if its cause every second person drives one aswell as skylines..... even if they are stuffed with a V8 donk. go something DIFFERENT peoples, even your neighbour has 2, one they drive and the other for parts. lol but,

if i had to buy a holden and there was no other cars in the world except daewoo's........... I'd walk everywhere, or reinvent the wheel.

but to contribute to this thread....

XU1 or A9X or EH ute.
EFIJAY - tho it looks to much like a '34 ford rod with a FJ custom grill, for a new car.

Funny how you have to have a cry about this, when you didn't even respond to the topic.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! :

VL Calais turbo, just rip out the horrid interior and your set.

My comment wasn't made to get a reaction. It is just how I feel about the opposition. If I wanted to blow sunshine a holden's a##e I would log on to the ls1 website.

Take a look at were you are on a FORD forum!

Alson for the uneducated people on the forum like myself could I please have explanation of "quod erat demonstrandum".

Go onto www.aussieholden.com and see how long your thread "Your Favourite Ford" lasts for :

C'mon Ford fans, why accept second best : we've been shoved in a corner for tooooooo long. Three supercar championships later we still walk around with our tails between our legs when the holden people are in our presence.

As the sticker in my engine bay says "Body & Soul By Ford"
