If the Storm don't feel really mad about 3 things I'll go he.
Try not allowed come on **** off hit hodges first enough said. Second berigan runs behind a team mate clear abstraction. And Justin hodges what can be said other then what a ****en liar he is what a disgrace theres keeping your mouth shut when guilty and then theres liars and thats him. He made a point of liaing. He should have closes he's mouth the ball was theres anyway, Touch judges are there for looks because they are clowns running up and down the side line playing with there flags. I'm all happy for Shane webke dont get me wrong he deserves to go out as a winner, But **** me dead some lame decisions tonight that was very costly.

Hodges did touch the ball.. But that went backwards. THEN, it touched geyers hand which then went into touch... watch the replays. Seriously.
The Shepard. You have that one. The Disallowed Try. It blatently hit hoffman on the arm when he was contesting the ball. There is no DOUBT about it. Seriously, watch the replays. I reckon the ref did a great job. Funny how it all changes when the broncos/QLD arent robbed for a change.

I'll toss more in the high shot against slater was a joke cost 2 points.
The grabbing of the foot penalty. Inglis all night was getting pulled by the leg because he plays the ball so fast. He was even bent over and almost done a knee. But hodges was infront of geyer and guyers hand didn't get to the ball, Should have been looked at but it wasn't. And Hoffman touching the ball is very debatable still. Play on it should have been.

There is nothing illegal about Inglis getting bent back. Leg pulls were happening for both sides. He did do a bad job and not control the play the ball speed for both sides, but thats not robbing you the game is it?
Slaters one was questionable. Would Berrigan have lost it if Slater didnt attack the Ball? Id say it was bad luck but the correct call. In the end its not Attack that wins the finals. Its the Defence. Brisbane are the best defensive team in the league and proved that tonight. Especially mid way through first half when they defended 4 sets of 6 on their line. Penalty count was even. The better team won

You cant work a player when it's not a dominate tackle. Especially when he surrendered to the tackle.
Leg pulling only went one way on a penalty storm didn't get a penalty for any of them. With slater and berrigan you got to say would he have hit him if berrigan didn't slip no, To many things contributed to that penalty and cost 2 points. I just love to see a penalty for high shots when a player is on his ****.

I had one more look at the replays at second time they are worse then the first look.
Slaters high shoot on Berrigan that cost 2 points shouldn't have got that far because it was the Sheppard that was mist 5 seconds earlier. Now as the commentary said if berrigan scores under the post the vid ref pulls it up. Now what makes this worse is the broncos scored straight after the 2 points. Also second time looking at the Hoffman Hodges contest shows hodges hands above Hoffman's arm where the ball lands. Hoffman's arm coming through lefts hodges hands up hodges is trying for a chest mark. That then knocks the balls into Hoffman's head. At no stage did Hoffman touch the balls play on. And also one last before i take my bat and ball and leave, The ball hodges clearly touched that went out of bounds if geyer touched that ball we would need snicko to prove it thats how close it was. Hodges touching it clearly geyer? Debatable. 3 bad calls in a row game turns points added game over.

I don't follow the NRL, but i sat down and watched the game and it was a great game. Few dogy ref calls, but what can you do. Good result in the end. Would have been nice to see the storm win, but this is a good send off for Webcke.
Think we should always have the AFL on Saturday and the NRL on Sunday. Makes for a top weekend.

Go the broncos but some terrible reffing decisions. The commentary by ray warren was atrocious, it was like everything the storm did was the greatest thing ever. And did you see the hit webcke put on the storm player near the end of the game, rattled his cage. :jab:

As smashed as I was last night, and as much as I wanted the Broncos to win, the ref did make some questionable calls.
Hoffman/Hodges - Hodges touched the ball first. Hodges/Geyer - Definately Hodges touched the ball before it went into touch. Geyer came nowhere near it.

Even though I dont follow NRL,
It's Great to see the Bronco's win. A GF to the West in AFL and GF in NRL to the most deserving East City, Brisbane! Well done.

Good game good result for deserving team and players .This was the best chance brissie has or was going to get for some time and they jumped on the chance .There were 2 or 3 50/50 calls in the game and they did seem to all go brissies way .

Two grand finals, 2 different codes, and none of the major players were involved.

My "great" moment of the night was the hit on Civoniceva late in the second half.....not alot of hits can stun that man but that one hit was a beauty!

I don't think there needs to be Victorian and/or NSW sides in the respective grand finals.
Brisbane probably are THE major side in the NRL, and you could argue they have been the most successful team since 1988, at least in terms of premiership wins. I'm not a big fan of AFL, but I'm sure West Coast have been reasonably successful over the last decade, and well Syndney won last year, so they are successful too. But anyway, yeah it is kinda funny that Sydney was in the GF of essentially the old VFL, and Melbourne was in the GF of the old NSWRL. Dan..
