There are no viruses.

People are the virus. If you click onto 'Home' or one of the other links along the top of the page, some people's myspace code redirects to a non-myspace login page. What happens is that you then type in your username/password, and instead of logging into myspace, you're actually sending your login info to some schmo somewhere in the world, who then logs into your account and sends spam to everyone.

One simple way to avoid this, is to always check the URL in your address bar when logging in. It will always be http://*.myspace.com/* The * are wildcard words. The most common login URL for myspace is this:

http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus...4-39337ed7d547

That link will come up when you click on a proper 'Home' button.
