hahaha sounds good, but it will be more then just a flash tune ;)

I wont go into too much detail, but the guy building my motor builds race motors for the saloon cars.. if you know much about them or not, I dont know.. but they dont do alot of head work, mainly bottom end work and a cam with very minor head work..
So if I get a race prep bottom end, would you be able to supply a fully worked head (ported polished and whatever else you guys do to them) without up-ing the compression?
Or is it sort of dont mix and match when it comes to building motors?

I kinda want the head+cam kit done before the rest of the motor gets rebuilt.. and I want to see what you guys are capable of when you can step it up another notch above hamo's..

hope that makes some sort of sence..

Makes alot of sence. As an ex circuit racer I do know of the saloon car class,in fact pacemakers competition headers were designed for that class. It would be advisable to build the whole combo as one.It would also be nice to run an camshaft that has the potential to make some big power. We have a camshaft in mind but it would require piston flycutting to allow for piston to valve clearance, now is the time to do it or forever hold your peace.lol.The cylinder head can also be reworked to maximise your combo by us.A healthy cam would require a manual or high stall if you are running an auto. These are the things I dreamed of doing for Hamo if he only had the budget.Money doesn't grow on trees though & we did the best we could within the allowed budget,he's done a great job for us & we appreciate it greatly. We haven't seen anywhere near the full potential of these engines yet.We look forward to making it a reality.

Can you "flycut" into the stock pistons??
I have a manual and I love a lumpy idle - and my car barely see's below 2500rpm so really the bigger the cam the better.. lol :P

Another reason I want the compression kept the same is because im looking at bolting on a Vortech S trim blower later on down the track.. one of the main reasons I want a 'full' rebuild..

Will be almost time for another phone call I think.. Will have a budget to work with by April..
