I had a look at EB (only game store at The Glen - my local strip) and it's 100 bucks.
I thought to myself, why would I pay $100 from EB for a game whose development has clearly been rushed, with little regard for pc gamers.

Rockstar can get stuffed, as can EB. Not good enough.

No.

When the console release was done, Rockstar just edited the game and submitted it to the OFLC for classification minus a few features to save them the trouble of having it refused and having to then resubmit. When it came to the PC version they were being lazy and just submitted the full thing, which made it through.

I've managed to get the game running half ok now, still a bit sluggish at times but at least the missing textures and all that crap seems to be working ok with the workarounds. And there is a patch now too, hopefully won't be long before a second patch to sort out some other issues.

I've watched some vids on YouTube, LMAO!
Just love some guys running their bikes off the top of buidlings, just the physics of it is hilarious.

It's making me want to buy the game, but my system is a bit crapola lately.
I've got a old P4 prescott(3.0 gig) 2 gig ram, 512 x1950pro vid card.

It's time to update after 5 years!

I got this game on PC, runs like a dream for me.

However the game itself I find is making me get bored really quick.

The cops are too sensitive, it seems everything attracts them. Even if you bump into them, they try to arrest you.

Oh dear, after reading so much bad press on this game and how it runs i am not sure if I will get the missus to take it back (she bought it as a chrissy pressie)

AMD5200+
3GB RAM
9500GT
100GB SATA

I am not fussed about great graphics, i will happily run it on low. I can just see me swearing at the game lagging and causing WWIII with the missus :P

What'all reakon? I am not much of a gamer, but like other, GTA has always been a favourite

But the funny thing is, you can fly past them at 100mph through a red light in a shot up car, and they dont even look twice

Big hoo haa on the Whirlpool forums about it, no one has really found a fix yet unless Rockstar has patched it yet.
