In case you don't know how to do this you right click on the desktop and go into the arrange icons by menu then un tick show desktop icons

This is the picture I currently use as my desktop. I took it myself with my Canon 550D and 55-250mm lens at Queensland raceway last year. I used Picasa 3 to crop it down to a 5:4 aspect ratio, (yes I know I should update and get a 16:9 monitor by now)
