Heres a bit of a tough one I asked a few years ago if I could change my user name to Sloxr6 to match all the other forums, but the user name is in use. I looked up the user and they have not been on since 28-04-09 and have made 0 posts.

Surely I could use that user name as it isn't being used?

Can help you with the latter request but not the former.
Once a username is gone it's gone AFAIK.
