Name calling - wow.

My mother told me a saying around 50 years ago.
"Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me."

Good ole mums, always there with words of wisdom in times of crisis.

THE TRUMP AND TURNBULL TELEPHONE CALL
by Rowan Dean
Australian Financial Review
4 Feb 2017

"That's it boys, I'm pooped. Germany, France, Japan and Russia - enough for one day. Think I'l go home and grab some…"
"Sorry, Mr President, just one more call. We've got the Australian Prime Minister on hold."
"The Aussie Prime Minister? Oh, OK. I like him. I follow him on Twitter. He stopped those boats when everybody said it couldn't be done. Just like they said about my wall! We're cut from the same cloth. And he got a landslide, just like me! Put him on … Hey Tony! How's it hanging down under … ha! ha!"
"Er, it's Malcolm actually."
"Who?"
"Malcolm Turnbull, the Prime Minister of Australia."
"Where's Tony?"
"Well, that's all in the past, Mr Trump, or Donald, if I may …"
"Hold it, pal. First things first! I'd hate us to get off on the wrong foot. Just give it to me straight. What happened to Tony?"
"Well, it's just that after much consternation amongst his colleagues and I, we, er, we had a ballot and…"
"You stabbed him in the back."
"Well, I wouldn't put it quite so harshly, it was more that the opinion polls were…"
"Opinion polls are crap."
"Well, there was more to it than that, of course. We decided in a collegiate fashion that there were aspects of his leadership style that we felt we didn't quite like…"
"Waddaya mean? You didn't like the way he stopped the boats? You didn't like that he stood up to Putin when he shot that plane outta the sky? You didn't like the way he told Obama to wipe the death cult off the face of the earth? What's not to like?"
"Well, there was that, er, knighthood of course … and, um, and an onion … that's what sparked it all off."
"An onion?"
"Yes. It was deplorable, er, I mean, wrong word, sorry, that's you and your basket, er, I mean there was a basket of deplorable onions, that is to say, ah, what I'm trying to elucidate is that it was … disgusting! Yes, that's the word! Disgusting, not deplorable. It was disgusting the way my predecessor ate an onion live on TV. A brown one. Completely raw! He was standing in the farmer's field and he took a bite out of it. The ABC were, quite frankly, appalled. And who's to blame them?"
"Did the farmer object?"
"The what?"
"The farmer. Did the farmer object to someone eating an onion in his field?"
"Well, I hardly see how the thoughts of some hick yokel Tassie onion farmer is in any way releva…
"Of course it's goddam relevant!!! The leader of your country comes into your ****y little onion patch and takes a bite out of one of your onions! Oh my gawd, that would be the greatest advert ever!! Huuuge! Sales through the roof!! The guy must've been over the moon! One moment he's some struggling two-bit onion farmer and the next he's growing onions fit for the Prime Minister! That's exactly how a proper leader helps the little, forgotten people. Take a bite outta his onion! Raw! That takes guts. Hey Kellyanne, remind me I gotta do that, next time we're in Dakota! OK?"
(Off speaker: "Eat onion. Noted, sir.")
"Well, excuse me Mr President, but Julie and Scott and Arthur and Lucy and Wyatt and I and all of our friends at the ABC and in the mainstream media didn't quite see it that way, and…"
"The media are all liars. They're cheats and liars and they lie and cheat and then they tell lies about the lies they've already told. Anyway, when did all this onion stuff happen? Couple weeks ago?"
"Um, no, a couple of years ago actually, I, er, I've been Prime Minister of Australia since September 2015, as it happens. Lucy says…"
"I don't get it. If you've been PM for a year and a half, how come you never got in touch with me? I mean, it was pretty obvious to everybody that I was gonna be the next President…"
"Well, actually I disagree. My son-in-law, who is the highly respected Research Director at the US Studies Centre in Sydney, he and his colleagues all assured me that you didn't have a hope in hell. Besides which, I was very close to Barack. We took a selfie together. That's when we stitched up the deal."
"Deal? What deal?"
"It's brilliant. You take a thousand Syrian, Iraqi and Sudanese refugees from our off-shore detention centres and in exchange we take some Colombians."
"Why?"
"Well, it's obvious … it sends a clear, powerful and unequivocal message to the people smugglers that no asylum-seeker will set foot in Australia ever again!"
"They just get citizenship here in America instead."
"Precisely."
Click.
"Hello? Mr President? Hello?"

Ah, these are the riots opposing someone's right to free speech by the holier than thou who preach tolerance? A gay Jew pro trump supporter who the left consider a nazi. This sums up the mentally retarded liberal logic to a t.
Good work tho. The usual words used to silence anyone with an alternative view point to the tolerant left have been abused so much they've lost all meaning and effectiveness.

I dunno why they have demonstrations so early, why not wait until something actually happens?

Trump can't lose on the refugees now. If in the future a refugee is involved in a terrorist incident in the US, it won't be Trump's fault; it will be the judiciary's fault.

They will just call it a Trump false flag and in fairness the ones leaning Right have claimed asmuch in the past with mass shootings and Obamas threatening of changing firearm ownership laws.

A bit of entertainment to brighten our day.

These comments were never shown on our Australian soft left media.

Trump is a quicker thinker than I thought !

Can you imagine a Bill Shorten or a Malcolm Turnbull taking on this ( Non ) politician ?

It would be like the barracuda and the goldfish !

Yes, Keating was good at close quarters and had way to much horspower compared to Shorten and Turnbull.

BUT so did John Howard and Peter Costelo.

Keating only won 1 Federal Election, Howard won 3.

None of these Australian luminaries could have done what Trump did to beat the impossible odds against him.

Just exactly what did those nasty Russians do ?

You must be a really informed person, considering the the US Inteligence community state that it is priviledged information not to be released to the public.

The US Senate inteligence committe heard it and wont release any details obviously because it is embarrassing to the USA.

Maybe the grand secret is that there is no secret at all !

PS No one is talking about this anymore in the USA !

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi urged the FBI to probe President Trump's finances and personal ties to find out if the Russian government is blackmailing him.

"I want to know what the Russians have on Donald Trump," the California Democrat told Chuck Todd on NBC's "Meet the Press." "I think we have to have an investigation by the FBI into his financial, personal and political connections to Russia, and we want to see his tax returns, so we can have truth in the relationship between Putin, whom he admires, and Donald Trump."

And there is an ongoing review by the house on the Russian interference in the election.

And then there was the interview with Trump this weekend where he again defended Putin ...

Lightweight, no credability.

Nance Pelosi "Urged" the FBI !!!!

That not real, she is a mentaly deranged leftie !

There is NO ongoing house investigation into the alledged Russian Hacking, if there was it is in closed secret session. We will never hear a result.

What the house is investigating, is voter fraud in the past election, headed by the Vice President Pence. We will hear the results of this.

And why shouldn't Trump praise Putin, he has not done anything that we are allowed to hear about, and he does not kill Americans like the previous ( mal) administration' friends and clients did.

PS The ABC and CNN are fake news sources ! Look further afield.

Yes, I agree.

Chaffetz and Trey Gowdy are fearsome and extremely competent investigators. They are the Pit Bulls of the house investigations commitees.

But remember that the "Doberman" of these commitees was Mike Pompeo, who now is the new Director of the CIA !

I watched many of these hearing where these 3 tore apart lying, incompetent, and corrupt Obama Administration officials. Mike Pompeo exposed and humiliated Hillary Clinton over the Bengazi fiasco.

While the looney left have blamed miscounted votes, racist electoral colledge participants, the Russian, The Martians, etc for the loss, they have missed a major reason for the loss.

It was these House hearings. Over the past year with the above three representatives displaying to all who watched the corruption and incompetence of those who were governing them and what was about to govern them ( Clinton )

The revelations were ugly and did not inspire any confidence.

I watched the oversight committee on CSPAN tear Clinton, Comey and Lynch to bits, as did a lot of Americans. Like you said, people saw the conduct of these three and decided it was time to drain the swamp.
