The boss of Optus is that loaded ... he probably gets chauffeur driven everywhere in something like a Bentley or Rolls. He gets all of that money for doing nothing at all (all his little pleb works below do all the work for him ... he takes all of the credit.)

I remember Joe the gadget man, didn't he do their ads? I thought they became BBC? At least the one at Maroubra did.

My manager drives a subaru forestor (sp?). The general manager in Vic has a BA XR6... the exec general manager in syd has an MX5 or similar and the big boss that ive asked about cars drives a 3 series beemer.

Very disappointing choices considering what they earn.

However, new bloke that started here today tells me he's got an RX8. A marked improvement on previous choices!!!

my boss drives a 06 range rover..

but his real pride and joy are his planes and helicopter. he has a 6 seater helicopter, a tigermoth and a 6 seater bonanza..

got to fly the plane last year! no takeoff's or landing but still fun! he is a cool old bloke..

also in his hanger he has some collectibles, original 70's (i think) porsche rs, one of those old huge RR's and an original mini cooper s..

Yep , that's right , that was Joe Sandow , I used to work at the Blacktown branch , he did the TV ads & In-Store promo's , used to be amazing how he could draw the crowds in , & yes BBC did buy them out .

"Lady Nock" used to drive a Black BMW , the manager of our branch said "you took your life in your hands when you went for a drive with her" . Apparentely she was a pretty wild driver , hand on the horn while driving Flat Out down George street . :

Hey Mechan1k

I think I'd rather ride with you than an "elderly lady" : I think you would probably be a bit more alert .....

The Joe guy that you were speaking of .... did he have dark hair ... and sold electrical stuff .... had an outlet near the Maccas at Blacktown????

I have seen him elsewhere before ... like Rooty Hill RSL on a friday evening (I used to live around the corner from the RSL ... kind of.)

First bosses were Chrysler nuts, he (Chris) drives a 78 Regal, and her (Marie) drives a new Crossfire.
When I did cabinet making the boss drove a new F350 to impess people, even though he was a ******.
Now I have 4 bosses, bit of a mixed bag, one has a VY Exec, one has a VX Clubby, one has an AU3 Fairmont and the other has a Mazda B-Series tray.
