Who cares how long...... : The problem with that story is thieving mongrel got a heap of cash and a bloke who just wanted some justice (which lets be honest, isnt happening anywhere at all) is the one sitting in jail!!!!!
Go figure.....

Yea was lucky to get only that, he had been in his fair share of trouble in the past. Biggest wack was home invasion and the fact it was pre meditatded (Spelling). A driver at work had 2 harleys stolen at gunpoint a few years back and he got $25,ooo about a week before chrisse, max payout is $5o,ooo.

Ok I have to also correct you (I really was trying not to, but its got the better of me)...... the word should be *tales* not *tail's*

Car was found last night dumped in a paddock in Inverlee, a small town west of Geelong. Has been towed to police holding yard. Haven't seen it yet, not sure I really want to at this stage. Windows were smashed. A mechanical expert is checking the whole car over, and if its stuffed they will write it off. May take a few days. Not looking forward to seeing it.

Dont go see it till you know if they are writing her off or not......
in one breath I would really like to say how fantastic it is that they found it, but now I know how hard it is going to be that they have......
if any of that actually makes sense.. which am hoping it does

Oh thats a horrible feeling. My mum's car was stolen several years ago, and even though it was only a $400 POS, when the cops said it had been found, and we should go and collect it (they didn't bother going over it) it was a awful feeling, just knowing someone else had been in it.

Hope it's not too badly raped.

smartlock isnt all that hard to get thru, the only thing would be to get into the car without braking the window. with smartlock u just get a key and barrel from the wreckers, take the old one off, plug the new one it and retrain it. takes an hour to do but still can be done.

I guess the good thing is they have found her in one peice and the low lifes havent torched it, but yeah it is going to be hard to look at your pride and joy after what those low lifes have down to it, mate I hope she is still in pretty good shape and not too much harm has been done, I really feel for you cause it is my worst nightmare to ever come out to the shopping centre carpark or even what you experinced and have it nicked from your own driveway, life just anit fair sometimes.

As a few of the guys have said, its great that its been found, but also, bad for probably knowing what the poor car has been through. Good luck with it all mate! :

ah man that sucks ИИИИ.. good that they found it... also bad coz now there is a chance of no insurnace payout for a new one, maybe just sell it if they don't put it down as a write off. some people have no respect especially for nice looking vehicles

Its probably going to get written off. Parts are missing off it and has been damaged. Waiting for the final decision from them.

Sorry to hear bud. Mine got stolen about 5 years ago, it's a horrible feeling to walk out in the morning and see your baby gone. Luckily I got mine back, but it was never the same
