I've pretty much loathed every (overrated) Holden since my first road registered car, which by chance was an LJ Torana, completed with a deformed steering wheel.

But pushed to make a choice, I would probably have to say a VE SS Sport wagon....... or VE series 1 GTS or R8. I can't hack the look of the latest HSV's with the POX ridden holes in the bonnet, and the ridiculous front bar. I've never really taken the the interiors. But I do think the first iteration of the VE HSV's are quite good looking rigs......

I also like the concept of a manual sport wagon. The Muscle car for dad's! If ford did a short wheel base wagon I"d be in there like a shot!

The only Holden I would buy is a VE SV6 and only on the provision I purchased it cheap enough to trade it on a real car the day after!

I know the Barina Spark is a truly ugly car, but if we're going to get stuck into cheap Korean product, should we revisit the Kias that used to be sold here as Ford Festivas?

They're horrible too, and we've got one in the family so I don't have an issue with that lol.

VE SS Sports wagon on factory lpg. Other than that, I think that the VZ is still the hottest modern Holden so an SS or HSV in that series would do just fine.

MY12 SS ute.. simply put.. its a sexier looking ute than the ford offerings..
has a tougher looking front end.. and you can make it a panelvan (kinda) with the right top.. and no silly splits between the cab and tray..
