I like some black 4wd's with 20 inch rims.

I think that Hyundai RWD V8 that is made being made in USA is pretty cool.
Big, fast, luxury, rwd V8 that is a competitor of BMW and Merc...... for less then half the price.

I like old corolla's. This one belongs to my mrs and myself.

Building a hot 5k for it now and converting the front brakes to discs.

I think I am getting old.

I have a soft spot for these things

I also don't mind a TASTEFULLY modified import ... that's tough.

Oh for me it would have to be the L series subaru's...always seen them around, seen what they can do offroad aswell. Just loved the bod shape and everything. You can tell because i bought the older version of it haha.

But getting to the really dark dark parts of myself.....a kingswood ute would have me. It would be quite the possibility that ill buy one when i move to the country. Just a tough, good looking tough vehicle. Tough. Although theres a part of me that wants to make me buy a ford ute instead of the kingy

Top vehicle i reckon...

I really really like VX Clubsports and GTS's, I would happilly own one, but no other commodore really does it for me like those two. They are pretty much perfect...to me.

I also like some euros like B5 RS4's and 6cyl M3's.
Also the odd jap car, Supra's, RX7's, STI's. I almost bought a Supra actually.

There mine, not really embarassing but meh.

Ah yes the mini mustang...very cool car. Oh old school BMW is great aswell, +1 for the 6'ers. I quite like the M535i aswell.

Ive been seeing heaps of these lately and they are not over expensive either.

Just a great classic shape!

Great thread by the way, love talking cars without being having a hissy fit over small details.

Awesome. I have a huge fetish for early Celicas. I want a 22/23 though.

Other facts (Some I'm not proud of)

-I had a CC Lancer as my first car. We ALL thought it was great at the time. I still want an EVO1/2/3 or a CC GSR. The GSR is more likely due to the EVO never being complied here until 6.5 (I think?).

-I had an St162 Celica as my second car. It was terrible. I still want an ST165.

-I love old Jap cars.

-I thought Ford Probes were cool when I was a kid.

-I still want a VR/VS HSV Senator. Or even just a Clubsport. Manual.

-I can't stand the first Mustangs. But the Mach 1 Fastback.....*Drools*

-XY GTHO Phase 3. Surely the most desirable Aussie classic? Not interested! Seriously! Give me an XT/XR anyday.

I also think AU's are good looking. Especially the T-Series. Nom Nom Nom....

Okay...this is the one car I've loved since I was 6, when I first laid eyes on Test Drive II on the Commodore 64.

Within price, I just want an XB or XC Coupe outside of that.

I love looking up Mitsubishi Sigmas with the four square headlights. I've seen some that have been done up tastefully and they present quite well without being peckerhead cars

Also didn't mind the two-toned early Commodores. I didn't like the VK onwards as much. They softened the lines too much for my liking.

Another vehicle I'll always have a big place in my heart is the XF Falcon Wagon. We had one for 13 years. Though hardly refined, it was the best bloody workhorse vehicle you could want that could also transport a family of five across states.

I love seeing a well-maintained XF Wagon.

This thread is funny as, SLO247 I came very close to buying a black Probe before my previous car (EL Ghia). They look good and thats about it.

Uranium Death. My old man has a XF Wagon and if it was not for the off beige duco and oval badges you would swear he owned a Ferrari. He loves it, someone stole the original hubcaps the other week (you know, the really cool ones with ~8 circles in them) and he was devastated he had to go to Superhceap and but "modern" ones on...LOL

I find XA-C Falcons (mostly the coupes!) infinitely more desirable than an XY.

I just can't find any four door car good-looking. I just think 'why bother'.

mmmm, memories, My RA28 was the second car I ever built riding on Simmons wheels and using most of the parts out my first car I ever built being a 1980 Hilux with 18RG twin cam, twin carby, still got the engine at home just no car to go with it come to think of it I still have a few parts at home in the shed for one of these.

I have a massive penchant for these and want to build one in the future for my son.

Have you driven one?

1. PE 2.5TD goes like a stuck cat - linear torque delivery that never seems to fall off the turbo boost - and it revs.

2. More than enough power to push a 1200kg car along (VC 3.3 - 83kw/231nm; VC 4.2 86kw/269nm - PE 2.5TD 86kw/280nm....)

3. Cheap rego & bugger all fuel consumption - ideal for a daily

4. Sh#t & giggles factor of ****ing off the holden faithful with an oil burner Brocky......
