Two Hands was indeed an awesome movie, to date its pretty well the only thing I've really watched that had him in it, and I thought he was good in that.
That has to be one of my fav lines in any movie. brilliant

Apparently he died of alcohol poisoning. He swallowed one too many cowboys.

RIP

He was great in Two Hands and The Patriot.

R.I.P. HEATH

had the pleasure of meeting his father a few months back when looking for a workshop for myself and my mechanic as he owns a fair few in the Welshpool Bentley area, his dad is involved in speedway and other motorsport ventures and was very helpful and seemed like a top bloke and had nothing but good things to say about his son. My condolenses go out to his family here in Perth

It's crazy, people are falling off the face of the planet at the moment, and all seem to be "accidents" or "overdoses" . It's a real shame, I feel bad for his poor kids.

Two Hands probably one of the best movies to be made in this country

A great actor to watch. One has to feel for his family.

Those high profile celebs are all in too deep, but at the same time the paparazzi hang around like flies too, which apparently drove him wild. Would me too

RIP Heath.
At this stage it is still apparent that he died of a drug overdose.
Inside sources and rumour have it that he got addicted to 'crack' after shooting brokeback mountain.

I really honestly feel that the paparazzi need to be clamped down on.

Especially when they hound people like Britney 24/7, I mean, really, WHO CARES what she has for breakfast on a Tuesday and yet they make something like that into OMG WOW!!!! material. Now don't get my wrong, I don't mind the odd bit of celebrity news every now and then, but it ALWAYS seems to be the same celebrities the paparazzi hound day and night for bits of "news", I wouldn't even use the bits of newspaper they're printed on to wipe my ar$e they're that bad.

Sorry for the bit of an offtopic rant.

More two hands quotes:
What's goin' on, I can't believe that a 35 year old woman can die of natural causes.

You'd be surprised Pando, heart disease is the biggest killer of Australians over 30!

Funny how so many people jumped the gun.

Pills weren't strewn across the room, their were some prescription sleep pills in his bedroom and some over the counter sleep aids in his bathroom from police reports so far (not E! news =/).

RIP - Was an amazing actor, and his ones due for release soon looked to be some of his best work.

I doubt they'll waste all that work of filming and stuff they've already done just to can the project.

Even if all his scenes aren't fully filmed, look what they managed to do back in 1994 when Brandon Lee died during filming of The Crow - I'm sure with today's technology they'll be able to complete the movie. I'll bet any money the first credit that rolls at the end of the film will be a dedication to Heath Ledger though, and in a way it should be.

You get over yourself buddy.

Just for some perspective here, Michael Hutchence suicided as he was a manic sufferer of depression. Even though he had his best years ahead of him that couldn't remove the thoughts of doom and gloom that drove him to breaking point.
I couldn't care less about what Heath Ledger was or wasn't in, he was still just a person, albeit very arrogant when he lived in Sydney.

As Heath Ledger was already working on his next movie I would say this film is just in post-production, so I don't see it's release being effected.

There is a few references to pnuemonia in this thread , but let me tell you unless your elderley or very young in general it won,t kill you. I have had it and you have high fevers and get a bit tight in the chest , and I was 40 not 28. Its treated by strong anti-biotics and plenty of fluid intake. So I would be surprised if this was pinpointed as the cause of cardiac arrest..

wow thats a disgrace. Religion is scary. Can't we all just get along. live our life how we want without others telling us what to do. If you want to have such extreme religios views keep them to yourself. If you don't mind a bit of the man loving. so what.

Sorry to his family and daughter.

Regardless of the cause of death, this all presumes a lot.

Depression is REAL, for many people there is no getting over it, many hundreds of people suffer to the point of suicide. We just don't hear much about it because ther is no media sensationalism because the person is not famous. Let's wait for the FACTS to come to light - if they ever really do because media reports what they like - before passing judgement. How about you put yourself in the shoes of his family having to hear all this!
