How was the weekend XBGT? Bit buggered this morning?

Check your emails.

By my reckoning we came in 7th.

Yeah Trev, got your email there mate. I checked through the results and I figured we actually got 8th place which was pretty impressive still ..... and Team Tampured got 9th .... hahaha!!! Good to see a bit of friendly rivalry. :

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend out at Winton Raceway with you and all the guys, would love to do it again some time. :

I have finally bitten the bullet and completed my membership forms for family ... emailed them off and payment will be made tomorrow when I go to the tin tank. Handy that I use NAB also...... :

Ann and I are keen to go to the Island for the display and V8's with the kids .... just need some advice on a place to stay down at Cranbourne so we are able to meet for the 7AM departure ......... too hard to bring 2 cars from Bendigo and be there that early .....

I have also put my hand up for a 10th year shirt if there are and XL's left .....

G'Day xbgt,

Got your email... all fine. Got you down for the Sunday display etc..... then you can try and work out who is who!

A club member has Cowes Caravan Park - Mark is his name, but i daresay they are booked out.

I'll send you some places around Cranbourne way via email..

Cheers,

I don't think there was a VY SS ute in Silver there, but there was a second group of mainly commo drivers that did a very similar cruise ...... but I honestly have no interest in the commos so didn't pay all that much attention to them ...

I have been over a few photos from the event and have not found the car in question ..... not too familiar with names of lots of people as yet ..... so can't help there either.

We have started doing some random photo cruises .... look for a nice venue, organise a meet point then drive to where we think we can get some good pics. Nice to be able to get quality photos of your pride and joy on your own camera or on a mates ..... best of all, it's free and a great opportunity for like minded people to get together

Alex is actually a mod on there, or so he tell's me, he probably wasn't there as he live's in Kilmore, anyway hopefully I can tag along one day aslong as I'm free, I don't like your chance's off finding a nice spot locally to take some good pic's, there's no green/nice spot's here anymore, you have to travell to find that, lol.

green is for those that smoke it ...... or for cattle .... lmao

I really like the idea of getting solid structures behind the car, like buildings or old trains etc ....... although I have taken some half reasonable pics on grass .... I just don't think it accents the car enough ..... IMO anyway.

The last set of pics were taken at the train station (opposite) and I think they look good .... but I still have alot of room for improvement ... ;)
