You gotta admit though, the video clip in the extras of Moulin Rouge is a lot more palatable than Celine Dion.

I think the idea with Moulin Rouge is that you need to drink absinthe to really appreciate it. The problem here is that I didn't.

Its appreciation through similarity. Its the same way that I watch the first 10mins of Mad Max and appreciate it because I have a 302 XB as well.

sheila movies...lol

I've been fortunate enough not to be subject to endure the lady marmalade flick but i could run out of fingers to count the number of times my telly and dvd has been hijacked by the rubbish that is other chick flicks like Bring It On, Pretty Woman, Say It isnt So etc.... predictable crap it is. Usually thats a cue to logon back to the forums, but I'de rather watch that funny lookin asian lady with the coke bottle glasses on SBS late news than watch Bring It On again...

Watched Moulin Rouge recently, just to SEE what it was like. Bizarre I have to say. Not my kinda thing... Im sorry, should I like that because Im a chic?

I DID watch Top Gear by the way - love the Bugatti... Love the plane. Love the "2 hours time flying this type of plane".... Love the sound.

You just taped Top Gear while you watched Moulin Rouge, didnt you Dave? Good stuff.

Now please dont tell me that you dont like the idea of having rough sex with Nicole Kidman inside a giant, fat, pink elephant?! Well maybe not Nicole Kidman but I wont comment on your tastes... :P

Zoolander is brilliant.....so many great lines, so many great scenes but the best scene has to be my fave

"cough cough ...... I think I've got the lung dad"

Moulin Rouge - apart from playing spot the aussie when you watch it that movie sucked the big one.

Just be thankful you didn't fork over $12 for ticket at the flicks to see it like Ringo here

Hmm my wifes favourite movie is Moulin Rouge - I can't stand it, I've made it through 10 minutes of it at the most. What a pile of crapola - maybe it has something to do with the fact that I can't stand Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor, or anything that feels the need to express things via "song"...
