Is there a way you can put a charging wires through to the trailer connector from the car, which comes from the atlertor/battery in the car, to charge the battery in the trailer??

You could, depends if the pins are rated high enough.
My camping trailer has a battery on board all the time, and it can run two fluros, and a water pressure pump from a water tank for ages. We never had a problem with it going flat.

You will find, if you were ever going to have a BBQ at night, you wouldnt be in total darkness, and have to rely on the lights on the trailer.
They wouldnt get used a whole lot IMHO, so its not really worth the effort to run a wire through the car from the alternator to the trailer battery.

I just thought I'll add, that a battery may be a better idea then using gas for lighting

Regarding the trailer build day, today, I will swing past and have a look on my way to work. I should be passing through 5PM

Gubas.

Or, just wire up your lights to your parkers. Then they could run off the car battery

Sounds like you've done well anyway. I would have gone but I don't trust my clutch pedal at the moment. It hasn't been sorted yet

nah its not towable yet but its very close, we have to finish off the front plate then we can put the draw bar on, after that the parcell shelf needs to be leveled off, and the new floor in the boot. still have to replace the drivers side door and get the ripples out of the other one. we are about half way (allmost) most of the hard work is done

Here they are:

Also had to take advantage and get some pics of the cars!

What's a day when no one gets hurt, eh?

There are a couple of other pics here -->> http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y71...seriesTrailer/

Once again, I'm no photographer but I was the only one who bought a camera, so I'm afraid you're stuck with my pics...

Good pics Krys. Why are the door trims and quarter window still on the car?
