Hahaha! My dad topped up the oil on the landcruiser before we left on a trip from sydney to port stephens a couple of years ago. Drove up there, spent the whole week driving around, putting the boat in and out of the ramp. On the way back dad popped the bonnet to fill wiper fluid, and there was the oil cap sitting on the cover, and the plastic funnel he was using sitting in the same spot! :hihi:

I once had a huntsman on my front window just before i turned onto the freeway, Now I'm **** scared of spiders and punched the light switch to get the window up fast as it was trying to come in, Lights went green and i let loose onto the freeway left and right shaking the car and getting to 100. Anyway after 15 min on the freeway i got nere home and parked the car The **** was on the boot:P. 8 legs work well.

The other week, when working on my girlsfriends WH Statesman I found an E wrapped in a pre-paid phone voucher dated 2002 under the dash. Had a VN Calais for a few months and found an oil cap lodged in the engine bay, dont know how long that had been there...

I had foul smell hanging around one of the skylines I had for a couple of weeks, and when I checked to oil found a feral kitten (I grew up on a farm and we had a few of these around) had got stuck between the injector rail and head and been slow broiled.

for 2 -3 days boys complain about rattleing noise from the dyna truck, I thought my boys had left one of the straps loose on top or some such. Got the poops when my men did nothing about it, so went up to fix it. Found a f'n carpenters hammer up there. Needless to say some harsh words for the boys that afternoon!!

When I was a kid there was a bad smell in the car for weeks, eventually my mum found a packet of mince meat that had fallen under the back seat and had gone green. My girlfiends brother inlaw fixes cars and resells them, found a soiled babies nappy wedged under the rear seat of a car he bought.

Well I took the radiator overflow bottle cap off and popped it ontop of the bottle for a refill, dropped the bonnet without replacing the cap and drove for half an hour, I was scratching my head at why the low water light was on.

Opened the bonnet and there it was, still balanced ontop of the bottle!

How do you like 'dem apples?

We had a cat that alomst found it's self in that situation. Lucky for it I thought I'd check the oil before I headed out. Apparently they like the warmth of the engine. In Canberra especially
