Its was actually all a hoax. The sponsor of the car had it stolen for a commercial they did. Had everyone going  You can thank my Mrs for seeing on the late news

On the news footage of it over here in NZ were where don't it was a prank the owner of the race team setup against the driver, and it was going to used for a commercial for a specialist car insurance company. What ever it was it was definately a set up

I saw it this morning on Any Given Sunday (Mick Molloy and Nicole Livingstone, Sunday 12-1pm) on Channel 9.
They said it was for a commercial. I have no idea whether this is true or not. I'll just watch it with amusement. |
