I would be keen on the dash stripe, the shifter surround and the 4 door spears. Depends on price though...

Cheers,
Michael

I would certainly be interested in this.

Real carbon fibre is in another league compared to most other (interior) cosmetic enhancements IMO, provided its not overdone of course.

Unless you were going for the full stripped out racecar look with a cage, no carpet etc. Then you could get away with carbon everything!!

Very interested ... me likes carbon fibre ... interior bits definitely ... even underbonnet bits and pieces as well would be cool.

How about a small front splitter? It reckon it would go mint with my rebel body kit. Something a bit like this.

i may be interested depending on the price of the parts / if i did do it though i'de be looking at the handles / cfp / centre consol t-bar suround / surounds around the electric window swirtches ( front and rear ) / airbag strip . Thats about all i can think of for now ( all the greyish plastic parts basically ) . Any idea on a price roughly ? , cheers , also do they do other patterns apart from what is show in the picture above ? .
Looks and sounds good so far though , little mods like this make the interior that toutch more unique. Thanks again , Rick .

just put this in equibs section... gotta find a couple more pics.

ok here we are... some ideas for parts for AU 's

here are some parts that I and most other people are DEFINATELY interested in.

the woodgrain crap- spear/around trip computer/climate control unit

will find a pic of the 'dash spear' on low series dashes.

the dark grey bit around the chrome shifter surround. possible the chrome too...

door spears.. - will try and find a pic. they only came on fairlanes and fairmont ghias, so a whole part would be good, even using glass as a base/backing to make it cheaper.

some extra stuff-

I am interested in the small strip circled with the 4 buttons... some might be interested in the WHOLE "pod" - although that would look tacky IMO...

POSSIBLE IDEAS

a cover to go over the airbox?

the plastic surrounds around the light switch, air vents and boot/petrol cap release

more plastic stuff in engine bay- intake piping. i wouldnt bother

engine bay fuse box cover

power window switch surrounds. - all 4 are different. heres 3.
AND the black plastic behind the door handle. i think front and rears are the same- although opposite on left and right hand sides...

Thanks for the photos HLC! Really appreciate that!

Personally, I like the long dash trim, centre dash trim with 4 buttons cut-out, gear shift surround trim, fuse box trim and the airbox cover trim... and probably the headlights switch trim cover too to complete the line of the dash...

If there are enough interests, we can definitely go into that... We will be releasing our BA interior trim set at the end of this week (if the custom releases the shipment earlier, it will be earlier)... so you guys can see the quality of the products! ;)

Do you guys have any pic on manual gearshift surround trim?!

cheers,

richie

as far as i know, there is no surround around the manual stick. just a leather gear boot.

i am DEFINATELY interested in the woodgrain spear and door spears... any idea in cost off the top of your head? is it comparable to similar parts in the BA line- cost wise?

Yes... the cost will be similar though (also depends on the size of the part)... but that's based on that we have at least 30+ firm orders before we go buying those parts and making moulds...

when will the prices go up?

what about singular one off jobs if the demand isnt there? is it easy to just "coat" or "wrap" the part in fibre?

I will look into those custom jobs (like 5-10 sets) and see how much that will cost if there isn't much demand... I will need to speak to my factory manager about that since we need to source and buy those parts (that's the easy part) and start making moulds and get the product done...

cheers,

richie

Right now, I will consider:

- Dash spear (upper glovebox trim), although we don't really like the ones with heaps of holes... that makes it more costly as damage rate is very high while getting those holes cut out... you can see how thin the CF piece gotta be around the buttons... normally we will try to avoid making this part though...

- Headlight switch trim (to complete the line of the glovebox dash spear), we will need to know if we can make the CF goes under that "flicking switch" beside the main headlight switch...

- Shift surround trim (auto)

- Door spear trims (photos please)

- Airbox Cover - might be expensive due to its size (ballpark figure: 250~300 a piece)

- Fusebox Cover - might be expensive due to its size and shape

cheers,

richie
