They will suit all AU's, 1, 2 or 3, except for Fairlanes. I have a set of Aletzza's in my liquid silver, and they dont look that bad. Its your car, if you want them, and you like them, then I reckon buy them. I'll try to post a pic of my rear end.

sednwol, you are a worry mate. First you start a thread about putting a 220KW Windsor on gas, and now you consider defacing it with Altezza tail lights.

You're not a Commodore driver in disguise are you?

I think the standard lights look best. S2-3 lense colours look better than S1 though.

While filling up with gas today (aaaaaahhhhh LPG!) I saw a Benz SLK? and AU XR6 go by, both silver, not much difference in the rears of both cars!

Correct. Anything from Infrared to UltraViolet looks horrible.

I've got similar ones on my car they look heaps better than stock series 1 lights, they look real nice at night. And they do give you more power and torque because the lower wattage bulbs enable you to get a better spark. :

LOL, read my name again, you will see where my alliances lie. As for the gas etc if you have read my posts you will have noted that Iam a brand new XR8 owned and am looking at options! No law against that is there? :

hmmmmm, interesting thread, i bought my black AU about 5 months ago, it has the clear lights, and i really hated them, but they really have grown on me, however i am looking at the "clear" ones with the black surround.

fair enough mate, but just watch out for the boys in blue armed with their confiscation powers as the Altezza lights would look fully sik, add at least 20KW and cause you to "chirp" the tyres...

I personally don't think they suit Galaxy blue, I will never put them on mine, but silver is a different story.

I didn't either, but have grown used to them. They were a gift from the minister for war finances and fun, so I had no choice.

In fact, I hardly ever see them - it's usually just passing motorists that see them. That is, motorists that I am passing!
