NEWSFLASH - NEW SOUTH WALES TRAINING SUSPENDED

The NSW Origin team training session was delayed at Telsta Dome today for nearly two hours. One of the players, while on his way back to the dressing room happened to look down and notice a suspicious looking, unknown white powdery substance at the end of the field. The NSW Coach immediately suspended practice while the Police were called in to investigate. After a complete field analysis, the Police determined that the white substance, unknown to the players, was the try line. Practice was resumed when the officials decided that it was unlikely that the team would encounter the substance again this year.

Four surgeons are taking a coffee break.

The first one says, "Accountants are the best to operate on because when you open them up everything inside them is numbered."

The second surgeon says, "Nah, librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order."

Third surgeon says, "Try electricians. Everything inside them is colour-coded."

The fourth one says, "I prefer NSW fans. They're heartless, spineless, gutless and their heads and ***** are interchangeable."

lol that's going in my sig for sure. LMFAO

I think the 30-6 victory in game 2, got to their heads.

I'm no Footy fan (Can't stand it half of the time, actually) but I like hearing about NSW beating QLD.

Go the Blues. Squash those Gold Coast like meter maids. :thebirds:

Just got this emailed to me... :thebirds:

Mal Meninga goes to NSW for a meeting with Ricky Stuart. After the meeting, Mal says to Ricky, "Well Ricky, I don't know what you think of your players from NSW, but mine are all bright and brilliant."

"How do you know?" asks Ricky. "Oh well, it's simple", says Mal. "They all have to take special tests before they can play here. Just watch this."

He calls Darren Lockyer over and asks him, "Tell me Darren, who is the child of your father and of your mother who is not your brother and is not your sister?"

Ah, that's simple Mal", says Darren, "it's me!"

"Well done Locky", says Mal and Ricky is very impressed.

Ricky returns to NSW and wonders about the intelligence of his team. He calls in Danny Buderus and asks, "Danny, tell me, who is the child of your father and of your mother who is not your brother and is not your sister?"

Danny thinks and thinks and doesn't know the answer. "Can I think about it a bit more Ricky and I'll give you the answer tomorrow?"

"Of course," says Ricky, "you've got 24 hours."

Danny goes away, thinks as hard as he can, calls in his team-mates but no-one knows the answer. 20 hours later, Danny is very worried - still no answer and only 4 hours to go. Eventually Danny says "I know, I'll ring Brad Fittler, he's clever, he'll know the answer."

He calls Brad. "Brad," he says, "tell me, who is the child of your father and of your mother who is not your brother and is not your sister?"

"Very simple", says Brad, "it's me!"

"Of course", says Danny and rings Ricky.

"Ricky", says Danny, "I've got the answer: it's Brad Fittler".

"No, you idiot", says Ricky, "it's Darren Lockyer".

Hahahaha all this hostility is a crackup.

I have no problem with QLD (Been on many holidays there and even considered moving up there) it's just funny seeing the whole NSW vs QLD rivalry.

It's the Holden vs Ford battle of Football.

The Video ref needs to get his eyes checked I reckon. For once I actually agree with Gus Gould, and that doesn't happen often, let me tell you.
Thurston did not knock the ball on. His hands did not touch the ball when he dove on it...
The Video Ref was supposed to reduce the mistakes made by the refrees on the ground... What a joke! :
This has done it for me, Origin is no certainly not what it used to be.

well done qld.
just to get up the qlder's tho. At least its only nsw that has the balls and guts to be the only state that takes away their home ground advantage to melbourne everytime they have gone south.

let me see now. How many times have qld won at Homebush Olympic stadium.???

Could that be zero.

Was my first League game I have ever attended/watched. As my brother in law is a Queenslander, bought a Qld hat before game and braved my mates, all who were going for NSW. What a game and what an atmosphere. Was awesome, loved it!!! Great result too.................

We had a game taken to LA!
The team does not decide, the League decides.

We were lucky to go to Melbourne, but still NSW got to bring their Video Ref, Pity he forgot his Eye Dog out: Halfwitted Germ! :

Talk about a bit of QLD Pride! Well done boys, enjoy. :baby bott

I cannot believe after all the real bad decisions that d**khead video ref made, that Queensland still managed to put on two tries in the last 10 minutes to win. I sat there in disbelief after the game, full of vodka, that Queensland won.

I didnt think the maroons would come back and win it, particularly when they had some dramas with getting through the nsw defense and some crappy little kicks, and the BS umpire decisions. A couple of good tries sealed it though and the atmosphere was amazing, I think there were heaps more QLD supporters than nsw...i think Victorians follow them as we have more of a rivalry with NSW

My future inlaws came down from Rocky and the game was a pearler!

Great to see some of our Melbournian friends enjoying Rugby League live. There is nothing like a full house 50,000+ at a State of Origin match, particularly at Lang Park (Suncorp Stadium).

It was just a shame our showcase game in Melbourne was nearly ruined by idiotic video refereeing decisions. Not only that, but the hold ups (viewing decisions) were long and plentiful.

Makes me laugh... They can fill a stadium in Melbourne and Brisbane... can't seem to do it in Sydney.

Yeah it is.

Come up one time for it if you can, just to experience it - you'll never experience anything like it
