then select "workshop" and scroll down and you will see an article that explains step by step the removal of the cluster. Once out you will see how easy it is to get the plastic off. Just be slow and gentle and the botttom of the cluster just wedges in so it sometimes helps to get a thin blunt bladed knife or instrument and slide under the cluster just to break the seal. gentle to a dgree is the key.
EDIT: Acutally, I just read the article, and Im not sure its what I want to do. All I want to do is remove the front clear plastic cover off the cluster, leaving the cluster in place. The reason I want to do this is that a bit of crap got in behind the plastic and stuck to the underside.... :

you have to remove the whole cluster, its easy as pie to do, just follow the article on aufalcon.com.

to remove the plastic you need to push down the 4 clear tabs on the top of the cluster, and lift the 4 clear tabs on the bottom. the clear face will come off, revealling the inside. the black tabs are for the black plastic, so leave them be.

There is also a piece of black felt on the bottom to stop crap getting in/scratching your dash, so just gently peel that off, and youre done.

Its pretty self explanatory

Need to swap you oil pressure switch with an oil pressure sender ... this is located on the passenger side of the engine ... about halfway down ... just above the engine mount ... in a real PITA position ... need a deep socket set as well to remove the old one.

Make sure you ask for an "oil pressure sender" from Ford ... it's different from the switch.

I know what a paint they can be to remove ... I have to remove my leaking one ... a lot of swearing was involved.
