my gripe with subway is the dissapearing salads and sauces, no pineapple now and chilli sauce is gone. of and the refill's. you gotta be quick or they arc up when u go for seconds. even have 2 lil ИИИИИs at the parkmore store in kilsyth put up a no refill notice when i got my 1st refill. these 2 also were talking about us cos i complained about my order, charging for something when they shouldnt have! my freind was with me and the manager of that store comes into her work (beautician) so she told her what these 2 workers did.

What concerns me more is the bullying employees go through to make these things happen by bosses. I've managed to get out of coles recently, and thank god. I was sick of asking for flybuys, discount fuel vouchers and chocolates. Really enjoyed the abuse i got for doing my job too. What ИИИИes me off more is how ingrained it is in our society. /end rant |

I must agree that they are expensive but when your out and about, hungry and theres nothing else around to eat other than that crap McDonald or KFC, I dont mind spending the $8 or so for a foot long....I just wish there were more of a variety when it comes to some what "healthy" take away foods..

I find the macca's version despite being only half size is as filling as the subway foot long. Just pay attention to the way you open them as the buggers are impossible to eat once you take them out of the wrapper.

I like Subway i think there pretty good value & the stuff is always fresh & tastes sweet. I wish they had not got rid of the subway stamps though. But i think the world would be worse of without Subway.

Subway is a franchise so from now til the end of the world all stores will differ greatly in quality. Near fact that most are lower in quality than say 1 year ago. Only thig that bugs me at the moment is waiting to be served, no other customers around and they continue to play with the cookies or move food around when I know they've seen me damn IT! Quote:

Gotta agree here, over the years after many many subway purchases, I've noticed:
* certain sauces become not available anymore * chicken pizziola dissappear off all menu's * certain chickens become not available anymore * other menu items & sauces, ingredients suddenly dissappear Haven't had it for a while now, even though I love it, try to avoid take away places like maccas, kfc etc as much as possible, it's like a death sentence for your intestines (like smoking is for arterites)

Went to the local Subway a couple of months after it opened and it was crap. Not worth half of what they charged too little in it. Now go to the shop around the corner and get a roll stuffed with salami and what ever fillings I want put in it for $5 and fills up every time not like the pi## poor excuse I got from Subway

When you're on the road up the coast for a week, it's the closest you can get to a home-made sandwich. Sure it costs a bit of money, but I'll have a footlong in the morning, it'll cost me $8-10 and I'll be fine all day. The ingredients are reasonably fresh, and most of those things can sit there for days, as long as they're refrigerated properly.
The other options would be Maccas (fat, fat, more fat, and I hate their b/f menu), bakeries (which is fine if I can find a good one) or other dodgy food shops. I'll stick to my claim that if you're a rep, subway is your friend! |
