And don't you guys go to Brisbane much??? The drivers in Brisbane are bloody idiots.

I drove through Maryborough once, was pretty small but I didn't see much in the way of traffic. Hervey Bay is pretty quiet too, though what is with the bloody bogans in Commodores doing laps of the esplanade on Friday and Saturday nights???

Not as bad as Gatton I guess. I had a job out there once. Every Commodore at the lights felt the need to prove how big their ИИИИИ was every time the lights changed (I was in a work Camry). Wow, a 'worked' Commodore, haven't seen one of those before!

i drive on the m1 every single day and i must say the peak hour/work time drivers are very tolerant and respectfull...well mostly...you show people patience and its come backs to you

lots of hoons tho

But then again if you WERE born there you would not have understood this until it was explained to you several times.

Hard luck willsmith. Though, you never know, maybe it was a truck and he didn't notice.

[Which just means he was a retard, but on the positive side, at least he wasn't an ******* that was too gutless to own up and just pay you the bloody 50 bucks or whatever for a replacement.]

There's a truck that cruises between a quarry at antigua and maryborough daily that appears to be operated by some incensed, drunken, mad gorilla truckie from hell. I was almost killed by it one day as it came over the rise of a hill in the wrong lane and i was forced millimetres from a 20m sheer drop to avoid him, with all 4 wheels pulsating with abs. I still shudder thinking about that. I reckon it was him. IT WAS HIM!!

On a lighter note, to take me off the truck incident, I have to post a link to this clip because it depicts a certain fella who appears to be fairly keen to get rid a mirror himself... Maybe you confused god? Who knows. All I know is at this stage of typing this message probably doesn't even make sense. Ahh well, here we go with the link.

Do the save target as fandango as well, you dont want internet explorer trying to open it up within the browser or anything insane like that. Dialup friendly. Well, maybe not real chummy, but yknow, dialup isnt on its "to kill" list, so it'll get it within a minute or so, just won't be instant

Dammit i want to post this and go to bed but stupid pinnacle keeps crashing.

Here it is

This is spot on - I've also found that drivers there generally know what they're doing, they're just hardcore about getting where they want to go with minimum delay/fuss. It's always a 30 second adjustment driving in traffic there, but once you're keyed in, its a piece of cake, and much less stressful than many situations one runs into here on a daily basis. Commuting from Maryborough to Hervey bay especially. Mostly because around town at 50 clicks, mary lawnbowls can plough into a lightpost/fence/will's mirror and generally mess things up. But on the bay road at 110, mary lawnbowls decides she can wander over the double line, and she is promptly collected by a patrol, who in turn collects another 10 vehicles and, yknow, it's a bit nasty. High speed errors are what *really* scare the ИИИИ out of me.

The best part of maryborough is looking at it in the mirror as you leave town.

Sorry Kaytonk you cant even do that! LOL

I have a spare driver's AU/BA/BF mirror if you need.
Not sure what model you have though ... so not sure if it will help.

Was up there on the weekend, talk about **** clenching!!!!

Getting through the roundabout at the hervey bay bunnings there is a bloody mission, if you've ever "negotiated" (spot a person indicating left then plant the accelerator!) the roundabout at pickering st enogerra you will know what I'm talking about!

Gotta love the 4X4's that sit up your bum on the esplanade when you're doing 50 (speedlimit) and they're the same ones that pull out of a parking spot when your cruising along like they are driving a bloody race car!
