Depends on the girl, I've been down the road of high maintenance, in the end it wears you down and you realise if someone really cared for you then they wouldn't act the way they do. My current girlfriend gets treated how I would like to be treated in return, we are both happy and doing the nice 'little things' just comes naturally.
If you can't be yourself with the one your with, then how can you ever be really happy?
