yep was at the swans game, only thing that annoys me is having to fight for a seat with these people who show up when theyre winning :togo:

ahh well gotta be this year for the swannies, hey if we can win playing that badly then thats a good sign i think

of all people to win them the game but Davis, he had a big enough head as it was

What a strange game. I have been to probably 130 Swans games, and that would come real close to the worst I have ever seen us play (and I was at the drawn match against St Kilda in 2001 at Colonial Stadium, which is without question the worst game of football ever played, guaranteed) 3.5 quarters of startling ineptitude, followed by 15 minutes of magic from Nick Davis. I have said for years now that he is easily the most naturally talented player in our squad when he could be bothered trying. Now that he is on-song (16 goals in 4 matches I believe?), watch out.

I admit we are long, long odds against the Saints next week.. but it's finals, you never know what to expect. Was that the spark we needed to really ignite our lousy form so far this finals series? We were desperately unlucky against the Weagles, and inexplicably lucky to pinch the game from Geelong, who spanked us soundly at our own gameplan for 3 and a half quarters...

Swans won, yeah excitement, hoorah, we take interest in them when they win! and none when they dont! I know that eats at your souls. :

But more importantly those Mighty Dragons came good again !!!

lol have a look at the attendence figures for the 2 games on friday night
afl 39079
nrl 26463

looks like afl is popular in nsw wouldnt u agree

plus nrl could have been played in a back paddock with those figures u would have found if the afl was played at telstra it would have had a bigger crowd.

ok it might be a bit far fetched but there is only one afl team in nsw so the supporter base is very big, with nrl theres 10 nsw teams so the supporter base is spread around the state as not everyone is going to barrack for the same team.

You Victorians will never get it will you?

There are things to do in Sydney other than Football. We enjoy it its not a life.

And given you compare the figures from 1 game between a side thats an outside hope (though they may surprise a few) and an interstate side at less than their best against the sole available VFL game in NSW for those afflicted.

Rugby League is the predominant code in the eastern states you cant change that. Oh did I tell you my team won!

I thought this was "Go The Swans" Thread. Stick to the topic. We all know league is played by **** jockies, blokes who like to finger your freckle and pre season gang rapists. This is about the AFL. Start your own thread

And we all Know rudeness and flame wars result in bans and thread deletions!! This is a light hearted thread in a Ford Car based forum every one else has been able to have a bit of fun! If you cannot?

It may be time to turn down the attitude!!!
