Actually very very very rarely does a topic like this ever occur on StreetCommodores (You guys may think different) I dont know what the LS1 fourms are like as ive nver been there. But each to their own.I understand that alot of people dont like Commodores and thats fine with me as I dont really give a f*** if its a Ford or a Holden I still pay the respect that they deserve. |

Consider it a small indulgence that we permit ourselves every now and then... just like most others.

lol.. i just think natty boy here is exagerating a tad... :p i think 'ripping' any car up to 100k's is preety hard to do, unless your versing a 4 cylinder or less in a 6.. :p Nah, natty did beat me.. fair and square.. but as even he will say, my car is running real real bad atm... i know... no excuses.. haha.. but sayin he ripped me is funny... i kept up with him the whole time.. as i should..
P.S. oh... this was when he had the au ... i know i wouldnt stand a chance with a manual xr6... until i mod myn up abit.. |

holy threadmining batman!
Crofty you would have a better chance of beating an XR6 - same engine more weight. And if they are a manual you would have a better chance again. Auto's are quicker. VX's are nice rides arent they |

well, since they swapped drivers and stidds drove the hsv and the guy drove the xr.. the hsv only pulled away after 100odd k/h.. hey shaun u know as well as i do that my au was alot sicker then your car anyways when we had our lil race..
also SSBUB... i have no problems with commos.. crofty will tell you that, but since i could hold a gen3 till 70 k/h with 3 ppl in the car i dont think that a stock 6 vx could beat my car.. crofty was in the car when that happened so he can vouch for me.. on a private road of course

Commodore nice ride AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! :
Yeah the executive is a better drive then a forte, futura and fairmont but the rest, well just forget it the commo will get b$#ch slapped every time. I love the jelly bean look with the ultra hard and cheap looking interior plastics. You'd have to be a mongoloid to drive one. |
