Sorry what?

I haven't said anything nasty etc. Unnecessary.

Just saying my Uncle's view and I even said I'm not not sure what I'd do in same position.

If I had a classic ..... it'd be kept if at all possible.

I watched this show once where a wife nagged hubby into selling his 70s era Holden he'd spent years restoring. Then blew the cash on an exy overseas holiday. Bloke was gutted and too old to start over.

Saddest show ever.

Where does one find such a wife?

Whilst I have only my XP Coupe for 10 years, I wouldn't sell it

One of my sons wants it when I die, so I have told him it is his (after her negotiates with his siblings lol)

The EL Fairmont Ghia, no-one in the family seems that interested in it (yet), so when it gets a few more years on it I will probably sell it, it is in original condition, not bastardised at all

mines not a classic yet (2003 A GT in a 1 of 1 colour) but i would not sell for less than $30k, also wife say we can never sell it
i also have a classic bike but i was named after the bike so the bike is with me for life
and i told my daughter she can have it when i go but... she can't ride it ever!

we have a few actual classics in the family and only the HR wagon is forsale but even then my dad hasn't actually advertised it yet. i think he doesn't actually want to sell it.
he was once offered $16k for it but knocked it back last year

i think unless you need the money no one will sell their pride and joys
