If you're around the Moreton Shire ie Caboolture, Bribie, Woodfood, Pine Rivers
Tune into 101.5. It's the local radio station. Lots of updates on road closures, plus some good music too.

Obi Obi Creek at the back of our farm on the sunshine coast is up over a metre from normal height at Gardner's Falls, which is a looong way upstream for us... Looks like I might have some cleaning up to do.

Kedron Brook at Stafford was maybe 15 metres wide and only a few metres below the bridge on the way to work this morning - usually just a trickle of water runs through there.

The rain can stop whenever it wants!

The Kedron Brook at our head office is currently lapping Gympie Road, the tunnel workers are looking down at what used to be their construction site. It's pretty amazing how much water has been dumped in the past few days.

I carefully side stepped every darn puddle on the way to work, then accidentally sunk my foot into some grass that looked "ok" just avoid one... next thing you know my ankle disappeared!

Well, I'm about to try to get from Spring Hill to Burpengary, then on to Glasshouse and possibly up to Obi Obi and back... If you see a blue SV6 floating past either the Port of Brisbane or somewhere near Maryborough, be sure to wave.

All the roads listed around Kedron are open with no flooding evident. Kedron Brook on the other hand.... a bit wet.

Ah thats good to hear then

After seeing "Gympie Road and Wallin St, Kedron blocked both directions." we googled it, and there is no way it could have been flooded as there is a downhill slope going away from the BP. Guessing it 'has' had water (probably only a small amount) which has since gone.

Yes it has started back up here in Kedron, I am about to leave for home and haven't heard any further updates being issued however I'll let you all know what it's like on the way home. Might go for a saunter down Shaw Rd to see if it has cleared much.
