Mine cost me 798.50 for BA xt sedan...and i thought i paid too much.
I love the BS of the traffic improvement fee, Queenslanders have been waiting for improvement for the last decade. It will take another decade until we see improvement.

Last time I checked (a year or two ago), Canberra had the highest disposable income, most free time, and was the least productive Region in Australia. Wonder if it has to do with all those tweed jackets down there?

$135.9 for regular unleaded down the road from me(NSW). Searching on the net the average is about $112.9 for regular fuel in Brisbane! But its still a bugger its gone up from $1.05ish. Did all the other fuels go up as well gas, e10, diesel??

Yep I be dissappointed especially consider the extra money "gained" by the government will be wasted and you wont see any benefit from it.

Who cares? The WHOLE country has being paying full price for fuel for ever, about time we joined them and spent the money on something else (like more new roads). 8c big woop, 2009 taxs give us about $120 a year in our pocket, fuel cost about $120 year more. No change to the budget if you need one for a $3 a week difference.

Forget the fuel prices in QLD. Wait till you get your power bill. Going up 15 -16 %. Remember when Beattie privatised it and said it would be cheaper !!!!! It's gone up about 25% since then............. We'll be living in the dark and not be able to drive anywhere in the smart state !!!!

just to make you guys feel abit better... im in greece atm with work.. heading back to sydney at the end of the month.. i filled up today on 1.29 a litre.. this is in euro.. multiply this with the ozzy currency of 1.74 cents to the euro..
so in ozz dollars im paying approx $2.25/litre...they don't have the laws like in ozz.. so the fuel isn't pure fuel.. the local servo told me it isn't worth it for him to NOT mix additives...
and to make matters worse...
hardly any v8's here!!!

Too true. Anyone wondered why there aren't any big sixes on some parts of this planet???

I had to drive around with a bloke from o/s who was here on business some time last year. "This car seems quite potent" he said in his pommy accent, and I swear the tacho never went past 2500pm.

the beauty of owning an old muscle car or any other car 30 years old is club reg $127.50 12 months but doesnt have the fuel economy of a late model. vic reg is the same price for a 4 cyl or 12 cyl only up here do you pay for power. the last reg i payed was $640 for a v6. good thing i still have vic reg. we moved up here cause it was cheaper living but now its the most expensive state in australia. mabey we should follow the teachers and go on strike untill we get payed as much as the other states.
