Lest We Forget.
Amen....the ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze me :
My grandfather died in a Japanese prison camp....
So every year...on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month I stop and remember him.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

If you can read this message thank a teacher, If you are reading it in English of your own free will THANK A SOLDIER!

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves under the flag, and whose coffin is
draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.

To all the brave men and women who have dedicated or given their lives to protecting this country and it's freedoms:

Lest we forget....

Reminds me of when I used to work in a club. The announcement would be broadcast a couple of times informing people and ask them to not use the poker machines, then at 11am we would stop. Of course there was always the tools who kept on playing. Many of us refused to serve them for the rest of the shift and the managers usually didn't mind. A mate of mine from uni, where he worked the manager just turned the machines off! Nearly caused a riot once lol.
