nothing will happen because holdens bring more money into the sport because of bogans buying every bit of merchandise they can. Also when a top ford team does something tega dont like its delt with quickly and the ford teams fix it and get back to trying to race fairly. When Holden does something tega dont like they kick up a stink and threaten to do stuff until tega just cave in to them.

Even with the few years of ford winning the championship, I have lost most interest in V8 supercars as it seems to be more like Holden control the series and not tega

Release Date: 12/03/2007
The Holden Racing Team has met a deadline of providing the required paperwork to the Touring Car Entrants Group Australia (TEGA) which will now decide whether it is sufficient to allow the team to continue competing in the V8 Supercar Championship Series.

The deadline of 5pm today was met but due to the complex nature of the issues a decision is not expected immediately but prior to the second event of the 2007 season at Barbagallo Raceway in Perth next week.

The board of TEGA met over the weekend and again this afternoon to review the paperwork supplied by Skaife Sports, the nominated owner of the Holden Racing Team.

“For the benefit of all parties concerned and the Championship in general TEGA is attempting to have this matter determined as soon as possible,” TEGA Chairman Kelvin O’Reilly said today.

“As much as we would have hoped to have a decision today, the complexity of the issue remains such that it will take time to dissect the documents and determine whether they are in order or not.

“This is an extremely complex and delicate matter that TEGA needs to work through. Paperwork has been lodged but that doesn’t mean that it complies, that is for TEGA to ultimately decide.”

Skaife Sports had been given a final reprieve of 14 days to evidence compliance with the Team’s Licence Agreement (TLA). That deadline was 5pm today (Monday).

The TLA is designed to ensure that every team competing in the V8 Supercar Championship Series does so on an even footing.

It requires that teams are independently owned. It prohibits a situation where there is cross ownership or control of more than one team. The benefits of ownership are personal to the legal and beneficial owner of the TLA and a controlling interest cannot be transferred to any other entity without approval of TEGA.

Those persons who are granted a licence to compete must be of good character, and undertake to compete fairly and professionally and have the appropriate knowledge and qualifications to discharge the responsibility of a team owner in the best interests of the V8 Supercar Championship Series

i watched moto gp on saturday night and was getting right into it. especially because stoner was up front against rossi.

v8s were interesting becuase of r kelly screwing over lowndes, but it seems holden can do no wrong. same story over and over.

Id like too think when the governing body makes there decisions its done in a professional manner. Weather they have red or blue blood running through ther vains doesnt come into it. I read post post such as the above and it comes accross to me as some people are carrying around a rather large chip on there shoulder. My 2c cents worth. :

Spot on mate. And with the legal team that TEGA has it would take next to no time to inspect paperwork and all relative documentation and then announce their conclusion. TEGA HARDEN THE Fxxx UP.

Yeah , I bet I know what the paper work was too! A couple of stacks of wine tickets, wraped up in a brown paper bag with a "Get well soon" card taped to it , signed by Holden, Skaife , The kelly theives, and Uncle Tom ! Now the TEGA officials have to get in touch with The "Don" Tony Coc...... and ask if the paper work was enough to let slide........ I mean prove ownership !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :

TEGA need to be held accountable and explain why they are taking so long to make a decision. Maybe we could get Bernie (ooops MR ECCLESTONE) involved some how. then it would be something like . Have the doc on my desk by 9 am tomorrow or **** off and race elsewhere.

in the townsville bulletin they mentoned that skaife is part of the tega board.dunno how true that is,but it sounds gay.
avesco should have just done an investigation on the sly,put cameras in the team sheds at the race tracks and see who actually throws the orders around etc.

This morning's TV news said that Skaike had supplied documents yesterday but there are some "grey" areas that have to be answered before TEGA is happy.
And so the saga goes on and on and on ................. what a lot of bull - es ach one tee.

The system works as long as you drive a Ford, if you drive a Holden the system changes to suit.
