you should be on Fpv`s payroll Flappist your doing all the sales research for them ;), i picked the gt , i would have picked the gth but the extra side vents canam spoiler, ricer kit is a little to much more me, if the shaker looked good and actually worked i have that though.

Well that being the case, I'd go the GT-H and mod out any of the bling I didn't like.
Keep the shaker, maybe the stripes. Ditch the nostrils.

Fat tyres, big V8, shaker, 360kw. Sound good to me.

GT-E for me. If it was for me only it'd be GT-P but given that flappist has specified that it will be the 'go everywhere, do everything' car that all in the family have to drive, the wife will appreciate the -E over the -P so -E it is.

i wouldn't even consider a turbo 6. v8 all the way. performance is not an issue even if it were lopsided. they all go plenty good enough.

It does appeal to my sense of humour that despite the lambasting that the new HSV received here over their excessive bling, the two top choices on this poll are the ones with excessive bling........

There is a difference between bling and poor style (or even over style).

By the time 2011 rolls around my 2010 Prius will be worn out.

I will be in the second year of my mid life crisis and would probably be looking at something extreme.

I guess I should have chosen the F6-H as 350kw sounds like a step in the right direction...but If possible would order sans: wing, bling, scoops, nostrils & shaker... :

I tried voting for the F6...just plain F6...but clicked on the number after and my vote disappeared and I can't vote again...

Bling doesn't equal ugly in all cases (unlike a resent release in Australia).

Assuming the F6-H / GT-H actually look good, I'd go one of those.

It is a hypothetical.

1) You ARE going to buy one, if not then why are you playing?
2) The bling of the -H models is GTSesque, as in, over the top.
3) The -H T6 and V8 show EXACTLY the same magazine test results i.e. neither is quicker than the other.
4) The GS/GT/GT-P/GT-E/F6/F6-E are similar to the incumbent other than the GS & GT-E have no bulge.
5) You can mod it in anyway you like, tune up the engine, change wheels, add 12 sub woofers and neons, remove excess bling, basically do anything you could do in real life with the same consequences (warranty, peer opinion or whatever)

The idea was to gain an insite into peoples actual feeling towards the various permutations, nothing more.....

V8 is an aspirational thing. Redifines the "Performance car" mentality if you ask me.

O darn. I picked the F6-H, but if it is going to look over the top then I'd pick an F6 or F6-E.

Do you think that occurs naturally?
Or would it be more successful if forced upon the potential owner demographic?

I wonder if FPV owners are ready for an engine that does not suck or will they not have a bar of it. Consumer acceptance is manifold in maintaining sales momentum and pressure from above can often move things more quickly.....

I'd go the GT-E or the GS depending on price but I WANT THE BULGE! Dont want big wings and body kits though.

I'd look at the F6-E too. I'd have bought a Force 6 or Force 8 if I could afford them and they came in manual.

I'd take a 5.0L GT-E out of the hypothetical options : though for many people, model price points may have a large influence on which would end up in the driveway!
I imagine a GT-H / F6-H equivalent model wouldn't be coming in cheap...so how does FPV get more bums in seats?

A new engine won't necessarily increase yearly sales over existing FPV customers. Obviously there will be a surge in interest as current owners upgrade to the new models...but what then? Do the luxury/high performance models target different buyers?

Appealing to other car-buying demographics should be the goal to get more FPVs rolling off the production line.
Hopefully coyote and different models can bring in new customers, and get positive media coverage (wishful thinking?)
