Im not sticking up for gaming or anything but the amount of people i hear talking about these games and they should be banned and not sold to kids and so on.
that people shouldnt play them.

if you look at how many cars kill people per year verus games kill people. but there not going to stop us from driving right?

i personally think if your that addicted to gaming then seek help. lol..

i will admit i spend a good 2 sometimes 3 hours on these forums just reading the posts and getting tips and so on. if i was into gaming i could easy spend that time playing games but i dont have a problem cos i sit here reading all your guys posts.

kinda the same thing if its in moderation. just depends what rocks ya boat.

prove it. the majority of people i've talked to within Wow are mature of conduct and in their 20's. immature idiots are easy to spot and avoid.

When you purchase WoW you are required to create an account with Blizzard, the credit card info is used for authentication to try and limit one account per person. this is to prevent people from creating useless accounts just to harass people. Your card will not be charged until your month of free-play has expired.

As soon as you create your account you can login and remove creditcard as a payment option just to be safe, then all you do is purchase the game cards at EB or Target to keep playing.

I used to think that paying a subscription to play online wasnt for me, but for people who say its criminal etc etc youre just exposing how ignorant you really are.

WoW is not a game as such but more of a constantly changing environment that you can login to. The world is constantly being updated and expanded by the Blizzard staff, new characters and quests are being created. The subscription fee pays for this. If its not for you then its not for you, but no need to flame the hard working people who make this possible for millions of people around the world to enjoy.

I'm 20, i play WoW. Have been for 7 months. Most of the people i work with play WoW, from us low people allo the way up to the CDM! (casino duty manager the big dog)
Most of the WoWers are 18+ and yeah lots of them are addicted, like declining to go out with mates to sit home and play to get that epic weapon
Oh and the story about the asian gamer who had the uber weapon, his mate was holding it fot him, then he sold it for a few thousand so the original owner went around and killed him!
Also the stories about the people in korea dieing playing Diablo 2, they had played for roughly 4 days STRAIGHT
Yes there are some strange gamers out there.....

Correction: The guy above went and stabbed his mate or somthing along those lines. I got mixed up with the other story where a guys account was corrupted, therefore he could no longer use it. Thats the bloke who killed himelf.

BTW, the average age of a gamer is 26

Mate you're willing to pay money to play it, good on ya. I'm also aware of how it all works. When I watch my cousin play I get him to ask in the open world how old they are and pretty much everyone he asked said they were between 10 and 17 and those over 18 were losers on level 70 ect. I don't play it so there's a fair chance the older players are on another part of the map frankly I don't really care.

If someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are ignorant just means they dislike the idea of paying to play this game, if you ask me it probably should be free once you buy it.

That's awesome man, usually they won't let you return games unless they have defects.

The only online game id play is something like counterstrike, with no on-going costs.. Ah, those were the days.

PS. IMO, been consumed for hours by PC games is really sad in my book. At least if you're on a forum like this for some time, you're learning about things you're interested in. I've also known people to quit a job because they wanted to play more of WoW, they've got serious issues..
