Hey guys, especially Casper.

I've got over 400 posts clocked up here and I don't understand why those guys were locked out!

What rubbish were they up to and to quote the woman in the red dress named Pauline "please explain!" LOL!

Nitro Circus and ozfordau2 were the same person. This person came on the forum specifically to hassle and annoy the original OZFORDAU. After posting some stupid posts it was discovered who the person was and that they were here for no other reason than to troll for a flame. I banned him, he returned as Nitro Curcus and I banned him again and had the IP address locked out. Simple as that really.

Ok many thanks.

One other thing, at the risk of sounding quite inept, please explain "trolling for a flame" Is that simply trying to annoy the heck out of someone?

Cheers,

You join a forum (in this case AFF) for no better reason than to flame (insult, abuse, stir up ect) another member for no reason (you shouldn't be doing that anyway) but if you are, your a troll. Expect banning very soon, if you are. Hope that explains it.

I will not let this area fall into a childish screaming fit of trolls, flames, ego bashing and idiots. As AU owners we have copped enough of that from others in the past. The reason we are so successful today is we are a community where the owners of anything from an AU1 forte stocker to a T3 TS50 beastie show each other mutual respect and will help each other out.

Show me somewhere else like that? We are unique guys :

I gotta say , i been on the net for years and years ( was online with my Amiga 1200 even ! - was back in the days of 386 pc's ! ..lol ) . Over the years the net has become full of alot of garble and rubbish (and idiots !), until i found this website i didn't really spend much time on the net anymore unless i was reserching something . This website has truelly shown what the net should be used for and proven itself as a website thats resourcefull and not full of garble and idiots ruining threads etc etc . Well done guys/moderators for website , and the way you have been keeping it legit/serious/ and in a car club like fashion . keep it up ;) wd . :

Casper, just reading back over the thread a bit.

Are you saying that headers and 2.5 all the way back will add nothing to the insurance bill?

I hope you are? By the way, what insurance company are you with? Feel free not to answer though!

Cheers,

GK

I'm with RACV for the moment (Shannons is looking aweful good though for renewal). As far as RACV are concerned exhaust is exhaust. A Cat back is an exhaust mod, a cat back and headers is an exhaust mod. They treat the 2 as basically the same mod.

So a "mod" will add to the bill so why not add headers as well right? Do you know how much it added to your bill?

nothing.. I'm old, rating 1 and RACV are very reasonable with exhausts.
