I agree!! Very much into Chimaira atm :sm_headba

Mainly into metal myself, generally all types of metal through the various genres that it takes (hardcore, thrash, death, black etc)
Do pump out a bit of dance/techno a bit of mix of everything every now and again though.

Really need to upgrade the sound... most of the bass is coming out of my 4" fronts, rears are old and hopeless - which really makes it go *crackle crackle* instead of doof-doof. :

125-400hz ftw. Get some midbass kick in your chest. Nothing hits like quick double kick, the unrelenting pulsation in your chest, much more satisfying than somone dropping a **** in a pipe "burhhrhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

I agree with some of the above with regards to aus music. Listening to a stack of Pathogen at the moment.

Ill agree with Pathogen for the Double Kick and any metal with good clean double kicks. And if its not metal then its the Annual 07 and some various house stuff.

Yeah you know...Mr Whippy Music...Batman theme..does it for me.

On a serious note though, mainly anything brutal, 'The Agony Scene' blows my ********* head off with the insane double kicks. Sometimes I listen to techno and stuff like that. Been getting into some maximum bass 1 at the moment.

Stuff that guys just drive around being sik and listen to test tones!

...On a more serious note, it's all about house music for cruising, drum 'n' bass for driving!

i find that for bass songs it is best to have more of a kick in it that a long bass note,
all depends what i really feel like at the time, when i play hip/hop i normally turn my subs down, when playing dance they are cranked, and when rock they are turned down a notch.

you don't know what your talking about man

you are right in saying the above mentioned groups suck

but to rap and make hip hop its not just push a button and bam you have a song

can you put your bass drum in your boot? let alond accompany it with a snare and hi hat?

ps i play drums sax and piano..all of which i incorporate into making hip hop beats

im very open to all music.....

i play guitar an drums so i love metal.......eg.
Metallica, ACDC, gunners, audioslave, RATM, foo fighters, pink floyd, RHCP...

Anything Pop from the 80's i seem to like...think GTA:Vice City..

Dont mind hip hop, RnB, an rap, mainly older stuff.....chronic 2001 was the best rap album....eg.
Bone Thugs, Eazy E, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dog, Christina Agrilera, Xibit, Butsa, also HillTop Hoods and the herd...

Gotta love the Dance aswell, been listening to heaps of hardstyle dance lately...eg.
Pendulum, Kid Kenobi, Kraftey Kuts, The Egg, Dirty South, Nic Skitz, DJMaRV(thats me!!)...

Then theres the alternitaves...eg.
Alan Parsans Project, John Butler, Ozark Mountian Daredevils, Steve Miller Band, Eva Cassidy, Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers, H&C, split ends, crowded house, Frank Sinatra....

i dunno man, ive heard some ****in loud woofers, and ive made some freakin techncal beats on synth that i only wish i could play, i mean my real drums bass drum is only 22" (i think) and is louder than my car, but if drums were so loud they wouldnt need to amp em up live......:

contact me if yous wanna hear some of my hardstyle dance, or i might even be able to get some clips of me playin drums or the guit.....

ha, told ya i'd get flamed... love it

im not sayin im special, in fact, if you all want, i'll re-quote my statement just so you can all read it and find that i did'nt say i'm special.

and yeah, i've played house and r&b etc etc.... shit, i've even played in a jazz band. i teach students drums for all sorts of music, depends on their prefrence...

all i was saying is i prefer people who play instruments, any type, sh#t pick up an oboe, and u have my respect. and it's likley that only musicians could relate to what im saying.

Been playing almost 7 years. I tipped most of my money into my kit which sucks now that since getting my P's, i have new interest in cars and no money to modify.
My kit is a 5 peice pearl export (used to be a 7 peice) with eliminator pedals and sabian aax and hhx cymbals. I can post pics if anyones interested?
