I installed super lows in my XR6. I thought it would be a bit lower as well, but i think the car looks great and I only scrape every now and then. I take it easy over a lot of bumps and driveways anyway.

Yeah man he has.. He works at a mechanics that specialises in fords, But yeah nah my car already looked reallllllllllllly high before i lowered it, like lots higher than standard AU's. So yeah that may be a small factor i guess, but the springs are the things that determine the hight... *confused* lol.

It won't settle that much. You may have to look at a spring change or compressed.
For those interested, you measure from the guard to the center of the rim, as this height is unaffected by tyre or rim size.

Cheers

haha yeah.. im pretty sure mine are like 4 months new and my car has done 90,000k's. :

Yeah i don't think i will get them changed over, because im most likely selling up at the start of next year to get a smaller car :( (focus or lancer) because of uni/tafe and yeah not really worth the time, money or effort... But With a carload and a sub it will be fine.

Nath, SSL's ARE Ultra Lows.

looks like you just have SL's in your car. look at the part numbers/numbers on the springs.
