+ 1 for the T-5 conversion.

First time I drove it out of the garage it felt like the car has lost about 300kg. The instant throttle response and ability to use the 1000-1800 rev band was also a bit eye opening.

Incedentally the only single thing that has put a similar smile on my face was when I finally got the lifter fixed on the Legacy. The jump from 3 cylinders and 5psi to 4 cylinders and 8psi was rediculous.

A word of warning, my one way clutch died soon after putting mine in. You lose engine braking in gears 1-3. Don't do manual downchanges with it. Auto ones (where the engine is either at low rpm or high load) would be marginally better.

Shiftkits on standard BTRs won't help durability.. but then, if it dies, it's an excuse to buy a tougher auto :evil3:

Yeah, the claim that he beat tetris is a bit out there. There's actually someone saying that he opened a pack of pringles and only had one just before he did it too. But I think that's a bit far. No one man is capable of both feats, especially in the same day.

I reckon best mod for me was the manual trans. It changed the car in so many ways. Wish i had installed in sooner along with the cam and extractors.

At the moment, I would say my C.A.I that runs from the front bar to the mouth of the snorkel is nice. I also like my BA/F intake piping.

Hopefully, as of Saturday night, with the help of Scott, Mark and Dez... I'll have something else to say that's my favourite mod.

Josh.
