The Angels at Bathurst Civic Centre, 1986 ish? saw them on Australia Day this year at Coogee Beach minus Doc and they were pretty lame. Peter Garrett was in the crowd near us.

My first concert was at Festival Hall, Melborne 1980 I think.

XL Capris (Don't remember much about them)
The Church (were great, they were not real well known then)
Mi-Sex (were awesome, brought the house down, excellent live)
John English (was excellent, very funny)

Man.. it was un-*******-believable. Lajon Witherspoon has such presence! $80 per ticket was a bargain. So good, kept us waiting for songs like Praise, and Denial. They did Licking Cream (#8 on the Home albulm), and even though the girl from Skunk Anansie wasnt there, it was still bloody amazing. Best concert I've ever been to. Ever. Amazing. I've been raving on about that concert, even though it was about 4 years ago

My first concert was at the Perry Sandhills, The Whitlams were playin.

Only other one I've been to was Adam Brand, AWESOME! The Sunny Cowgirls played too and they were pretty alright too but was the best night.

I went to a few gigs in 1991 when I was 17/18, but I can't remember which was first... it was either Anthrax at the Hordern, RHCP at the SEC or Scatterbrain at some dingy venue in Parramatta.

From memory I think it was Armoured Angel at Newtown(with some chick metal band, some JJJ contest winning indie group called Mandible(??)..they were boo-ed off coz they were playing at a death metal gig...and another band.

If it wasn't that concert then it would have been a Sadistik Exekution gig.

Bee Gee's , 1973 , Hordon Pavillion , absolutely the worst concert I've ever been to . They were a "Recording Band" and couldn't do a Live Gig if they tried .

Best Concert - Joe Cocker , Capitol Theatre in the mid 80's . He was only in Sydney for 2 nights that tour , we went the 1st night (blew us away)
2nd night they had to cart him off stage for 40 min's to Sober him up :togo: to finish the Concert.

Hey Outbackjack , I missed Suzi's concert , would have been awsome , I heard she was great .
