Must go pretty well but! Good to see it all up and running.
He will have to rebuild it soon. Wouldn't hurt to correct the seals, better rings and lower the comp.

Then crank up the boost!

Should ACL race rebuild the bottom end with some oversized pistons, 20thou. Those kits are f all these days, and machining and that wont set you back that much. All that would be left would be a good head, and an AU head would be awesome.

Just my thoughts, I know if I did it again thats what Id be doing. Fully built bottom end, and then like an AU head. Cant go wrong with that, or even a stock AU motor will be a good start.

Either way, good work so far, looking forward to seeing the future stages! Awesome results at this stage though, its looking pretty positive. _2:

Whoa! Nice work Shaun.

It must be quite good to drive as it is?

Next time I see you I'd love for you to take me for a spin.

No noises or anything on the dyno. Shouldnt run hot on the dyno scotty the way the dyno works you always get air flowing through.

The way my fuel works is Im running a vortech FMU which is boased on vaccumm pressure which as soon as I come onto boost it increases my fuel pressure.

109 to 120 could actually be the power increase that you get from a T5 and thermo conversion. Probably should of dyno'd it before it was trubo to see the readings but everything happens so fast on the car I dont really get time lol.

Dammnnnn that is impressive and makes mine look like a POS lol.

I've got 3 options now, go more boost and a few more mods, ditch it all for BA gear or just give up all together lol.

Shaun just remember, you are No. 2 IN AUSTRALIA to fit a 450x300 cooler behind a fully unmodified front bar of an EA. Remember that OK!

This may be a question for the turbo buffs, but i thought you could only go as low as 6 pound of boost? Or is that just a 'standard' figure?

Vortech helps fuel pressure once its into boost its not like I have changed and upgraded injectors.

You can run 1psi if you really want to.

The spring in the wastegate determines the lowest boost setting.

If the wastegate is open then the car wont make boost. A lower spring will have it opening earlier. You can run as little boost as you like if you have the right spring.

Rmyers' was cut and pulled down to cover the lower part of the cooler, your EB's cooler was cut down and the lower part of the bar was trimmed off.

Mine, fully unmodified.

Gills = never running.

Let me have this one, please.
