nice man, should be crazy, typical e-series under body, all covered in oil/coolant, just a question with the front mount cooler did you have to remove the a/c condenser or cannister at the front there

Look at OSMEB (Steve) for an example his engine bay is mint/show room condition even cleaner than yours so im sure that Steve car would be even clean underneath aswell and maybe better that yours. Well what a day im stuffed as well acually what a weekend pretty full on.

Status on the car is well.....Im at home and the car is at Wayne's. The car starts and thats the main thing at the moment we are a little confused when I start the car it imediately jumps up to 3000rpm which is unusual as we have not really played with throttle at all only thing we can think of is that we kinda relocated the throttle cable to try and save it from burning. Otherwise apart from this hopefully minor problem all seems to be going to plan.

This weekend started out to just be a dummy fit which soon turned into stuff it lets just turbo it now. I have tried to keep this as much as a secret as I can but its hard when you are trying to get infomation of other people who have turboed there cars.

I owe a massive thanks to Wayne who has put up with me all weekend being shitty and cracking it with the car when something goes wrong. And I would also like to add that I have done a fair amount of work on the car this weekend.

Shiney cooler pipeing.

Cooler at the front.

Engine Bay.

What do you have to do to make it legal? just engineered or emmisions as well?
Since VIC is worse then NSW.

Engineers certificate is all as emmisions is apart of that certificate i believe correct me if im wrong.

I have never heard of anyone fitting a turbo kit in one day. Its alot more than just fitting the turbo and going.
We had to mount cooler properly. Measure cut and weld cooler pipeing cut and fit pipeing through body/chassis. Then fit turbo then oil return lines and the oil feed line the is so much that happens in it and then you get parts where this wont fit here and we have to modify this there time consuming stuff.

2 days with 2 ppl.. and its not running... pFFT!
mine took 2.5 days and i was by myself :P
i guess its further proof Shaun wasnt working hard enough.

nah the install look good, visiting a few days over the weekend seeing the progress was good.
3000rpm sounds like a vac leak.

I was mostly showing and teaching Shaun. Which I don't mind doing, people need to learn, I'd rather that then those who take there car to get upgraded.

Keep in mind this was not a bolt on kit, it was a custom one that needed to be modified to suit. Also when we started mid morning on Saturday, we had no plans to have the car forced on Sunday, so we didn't plan anything.

I'm happy with the progress made. If planned and a kit was purchased to suit, this job can be done in one day.

Good work guys, turbo conversion isnt as easy as everyone thinks it is.The work just builds up as you go, but do it once and do it right and it should be good all.

By the look of the pictures seem like you guys have it all sorted out, should be awesome once its all done..
