am not bothered who wins the world cup as long as its not Engerland, would like them to do well(am not bitter) but not win, i really couldnt stand them goin on for another 40 yrs of OH WE WON THE WORLD CUP lol

Yesterdays performance by England was poor i thought, if it never flicked off that Para player then it may of not went in an it would of been 0-0

My wife's happy Portugal won !
I watched the Dutch game and for all the talent they have it was nothing to crow about.
I tend to think the established countrys are having first game nerves and playing not to lose. Points are to be had and injuries/yellow cards avoided.

I can't wait for tonight,I hope I have enough nails to chew before the final whistle !

Racecraft I hate losing money ! but with mates we have worked out betting a more fruitful way, we bet amongst ourselves with bottles of red/white, at least you can drown your sorrows with the winner !!!

The dutch are a very good side playing badly.. If they can keep getting results I feel sorry for the team they are playing when they click.. Argentina also impressed despite the scoreline.. I thought Ivory Coast gave it a really good shake but Argentina were composed enough to lock the game up (only just)

I am already $250 infront on the tipping so dropping two $10 bets @ odds of $3.75 and $6.95 for Iran to draw and win was worth a shot.. I don't really rate Mexico at this stage..

Serbia come into the World Cup undefeated in their qualifying matches and only conceded one goal in their 12 qualifying matches. They were listed as the dark horse of the tournament, and had alot to play for.

Neither team were at their best last night, and Holland will need to step up to go the distance.

Go the Netherlands!

And all the best to the Socceroos tonight!

Serbia played rubbish football, they actually seemed a much better defence unit when they were attacking. It was just poor placement of the ball and the fact that the milosevic and kezman wanted to fight over who was going to score rather than play as a team.

Poor performance!!

Who are you trying to preach to?

Doesn't change the fact they came in undefeated. I never said they played well last night. If Holland were at the best of their game, they would have won by more, but they weren't. They did do enough to win, however.

I'm a Holland supporter, doesn't bother me how Serbia go, so feel free to slag away all you like.

P.S. I agree with your comments, too many people in the Serbian team trying to be the hero and weren't working as a team very well at all.

Tim

Serbias problem is that poor excuse for a striker Kezman. The man has the first touch of an Elephant. Also Koroman should have started...everything good they did going forward, came about because of him.

I second that.

The Portugal v Angola game last night was great.
The unfancied Angolans took it up to the Portugese.
That Angolan striker Akwa he was cool, with his bicycle kicks.

Play the whistle unfortunatly. The ref is lucky Aus isnt uraguy. He'd be shot in the carpark afterwards. Literay assassinated.
