1st - 1974 KE20 Corolla. 1.2L engine, 4sp manual. Stolen and written off. Paid $750 for it, would love another one to relive my youth but its hard to find them for that kind of money anymore, they seem to have skyrocketed in price! This is a car I used to get paid out about owning in year 12, because everyone else had a 1.6L Gemini or Pulsar, now they seem popular! Paid cash for it, cash that was earnt from many years of riding my bike delivering Messenger newspapers around the local area at something stupid like $10/week or less.

2nd - A 1982 Mitsubishi Colt (RB model). Had the 4 speed manual with the second gear lever for high/low range. First thing people would ask is "Why's it got two gearsticks" when they saw it. Was bought for me by my mum for $400 as she felt bad about telling me to only worry about third party property on the Corolla as "no one would ever steal it". When I got absolutely zilch back and didn't really have any more savings for another car. This one was written off when I lost concentration and went straight up the back of a 2 or 3 year old Jag convertible at the time.

3rd - A 1988 Mitsubishi Colt (RE model) which I still currently own. Bought off a lady at work who had kept the thing pretty immaculate. I've really let it go downhill, but it still runs. A friend is currently using it as her daily while her car is off the road with a stuffed engine.

4th - The AU Falcon. The RE Colt's transmission (auto) died and it wouldn't reverse at all. Since it was due for rego 3 days after it died I didn't renew it and let it sit for a year while driving mum's Camry around. I then decided I had a half decent job and could get a loan, so that's when I bought the AU. Probably paid too much for it (and I'm still paying it off) but its not a bad car, the tractor wheels on it really let it down though.

5th - the 1984 FD LTD. When I was talking to someone at work about wanting a cheap but good project car they mentioned someone else there had something for sale. When I fount out that the said car was an LTD, my ears pricked up and it was a done deal about a week and a half later. Hopefully one day it shall be a most awesome cruiser!

The list is in the order I acquired the cars, (I can’t accurately remember the dates I brought them) though ownership overlapped with many. Some were purchased new and others secondhand. All were owned for a minium of two years and some were kept for quite a long time. The HX Ute was my first in 1977 at 17 years old and I kept it for 7 years.

1977 Holden HX Ute – 308 V8 – 4 speed manual (converted to 327 Chev)
1978 Holden HZ Sedan – 253 V8 – 3 speed automatic
1977 Holden HX Panel Van – 308 V8 – 4 speed manual
1977 Holden HZ Sedan – 308 V8 – 4 speed (converted to 350 Chev & 4 speed manual Muncie)
1968 Holden HK Station Wagon – 327 V8 – 2 speed automatic
1972 Holden HQ SS Sedan – 308 V8 – 4 speed manual
1977 Holden LX Torana Sedan – 308 V8 – 4 speed manual (converted to 350 Chev, Toploader & 9inch) (passed to my son)
1958 Holden FC Ute – 2.15litre 6cyl – 3 speed manual (current – inherited from my Grandfather)
1995 VS HSV Clubsport – 304 V8 – 5 speed manual (passed to my son)
1977 Holden A9X Torana 4 door – 308 V8 – 4 speed manual (current)
2000 VT HSV Clubsport – LS1 V8 – 6 speed manual
2002 VY HSV Clubsport – LS1 V8 – 6 speed manual
1985 Holden VK Commodore – 5litre V8 – 4 speed manual (currently in pieces)
2004 VZ HSV Clubsport R8 – LS2 V8 – 6 speed manual
2005 Mazda 2 Genki – 1.5litre 4cyl – 4 speed automatic
2006 VE HSV Clubsport R8 – LS2 V8 – 6 speed manual (current)
2007 Holden VE Calais V – 6litre V8 – 6 speed automatic
2008 Holden VE SSV Ute – 6litre V8 – 6 speed automatic (current)
2009 BMW 135i – 3litre 6cyl Twin Turbo – 6 speed automatic (current)
2010 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG – 6.2litre V8 – 7 speed automatic (current)

There were a few others I’ve had not listed, being cars purchased for parts, cars that were a quick turn over & company cars.

MMm, I lust after another 75 3litre. And a GTV6. And a 156GTA. And a 147GTA.

Maybe a 159JTDm 2.4 5cyl Sportwagon Ti for a daily.

Oh, and I am 26 this year.

Short list here.

1st car: 1990 Diahatsue Handivan: 3cyl, 1.0ltr, awesomely fun car.
2nd Car: 2000 Hyundai Excel, crappy car, was fun while it lasted.
3rd Car: 1988 VK Commodore, with a 202 Black and a hollly 350 Carby, a set of extractors and sports suspension, was my project car but it got crushed into a cube when I lost my license.
4th car: Back to the Hyundai... Then I rolled it.
5th Car: My sexy EB Series II Falcon GLi, New sports suspension and exhaust being fitted in a week or so. Limited slip diff, 3 speed auto and a stock motor with a dual fuel system.

For Show: Stock as a rock... Looks good enough as she is.
For Go: K&N Filter
Future mods: Extractors. 2 1/2 Inch exhaust. Typhoon Intake. Flash Tune. 20% underdrive. Dunno what else, open to suggestions.

Short term goal: 220kw from the rear tyres from a naturally aspirated 6 banger.

I'll try to remember but will most probably forget a few

1st: Mazda 808 - Show car brought off my brother
2nd: Mazda RX7 S2 - with 12a PP then 13b Turbo
3rd: Mazda 626 - the sleeper 13b turbo
4th: Toyota corolla - paid $1000, flogged it for 12 months never serviced it then sold for $1200
5th: Nissan maxima 2lt V6 turbo - brought this via trading post and did some mad burnouts but eventually blew up
6th: Toyota corona station wagon - brought it cheap with a 1.8 turbo motor in it then stripped and sold off when I got bored
7th: Ford fairlane NA - felt like driving a beached whale but was reliable
8th: Toyota T18 - huge rear tyres and trasfered the 1.8 turbo motor from the corona wagon for something different
9th: Mitsubithi magna TH - always wanted on of these since I drove one in my early driving years. Most of you would've seen pictures of it floating around somewhere, matt black with a dirty great big turbo in the engine bay
10th: Mitsubishi lancer, 2009 model - for the missus work vehicle, tax writeoff FTW!!!
11th: FPV GT-P BF - brought as an engagment pressie for me and the missus.
12th, 13th and 14th: numerous projects still sitting in my backyard waiting to be finished.

and I'm only 28...
