Hi all
Have had about 30 fords including GT not long ago. Now looking for a GS or GT coupe. Not sure if I can ask a question yet but if I get a GT replica, is there any club that I can join that gets me club reg in Victoria? Seems you have to have a GT. Sorry if I have to wait to ask that.

Welcome to AFF.

You may want to ask coupe questions in the dedicated area. Plenty of knowledge floating around there.

Gday all,

Been in and out of Fords for most of my life, including Cortinas, Falcons and Escorts, and restored a 66 Mustang a few years back. I'm retired in Cairns, and my latest project is a 2007 BF XR8.

Thought I'd join here to talk to the real experts - the blokes who own the cars - about all the things I'd like to do, and the things to look out for.

Cheers

Chris

gday all

i havnt worked on a car for years - last car i worked on was a 78 mk2 2ltr escort in the early 90's (cars were so much simpler then)

now i have a BA falcon that i got almost new (2003 car in 2004) and its had zero troubles until now (yep i drove it 10 years without issue)
- i just kept on getting it serviced at ford

these new cars are freakin complicated (for me) so im hoping to be able to get some info on some of the things that need doing so i will probably be asking a lot of simple question for you guys

if anyones reading this that can help me find info on
installing new head unit
replacing front suspension parts (shocks and lower control arm)
it would be greatly appreciated

i tried to search the forums but my search skills failed me so i guess i will be asking the questions soon in the BA section then get yelled at for not searching :P

G'day all
Newby here have had my 04 awd terri for over a year now has done a trip from adelaide to Brisbane and up and back to Mackay a few times . Great drive only a few hiccups have put a nudge bar and spotties on rebuilt the tranny after an incident with no gears apart from that no dramas. Latest incident is i put new led brake/tail lights in I got from China went to the shops and noticed I had the dsc light come on so drove home changed the globes back over and no dsc light . After much discussion with my dad we came to the conclusion that it has something to do with the resistance please jump in with your thoughts cheers all and great site

Hi my name is Rick, I've never really been a car man. I mean I like watching things go fast but I don't have a preference. My brother on the other hand is a Ford man through and through. His the reason why I've joined this forum. He's bought a 56 F100 and he's been struggling to get it fixed and registered and for his wedding my whole family want to get together and get it done for him (barring that it's not a $25k fix). So yeah I've joined for help and advice and hopefully not horror stories.

But thanks for having me
