Anyone heard the rumour that they will recalled and the 'drift' mode removed?

Disclaimer, I'm an old fart and probably wouldn't have used it anyway........ Check calendar, no, it's not April 1st.

Got to say, there isn't much chatter here, on a Ford Forum, about the RS
Being hyped as is has been to be the king of hot hatches
Either not many members have one, or are still waiting
(maybe too busy off driving/enjoying ? )

In the scheme of things we will probably get a maximum of 600 units over the two year production cycle. So they will still be faiirly short supply.
And yes, we've been busy driving it like its stolen.
If the weathers good the RS will be on display at Fords in the park on Sunday 7/8. Say gday if you're out there.

Actually thought i saw my first 'on the road' one yesterday black one heading north on Pt Wakefield Rd in Adelaide. But in retrospect looking at the current FoST a fly-by look is tough to pick from the front given the DRL setup is similar and you need time to play spot the badge or cut of the front. (talking 90km/h opposite directions)

Reckon it was a FoST i spotted. I actually love spotting ST's anyway, they're always shmick looking, never standard plates, and some of the colours look excellent. Still a bloody good underrated car.

Few dealers playing that game a white one in Stillwell Ford showroom in Adelaide bet it ain't cheap. It's BS when many are STILL waiting for their cars.

On another note i'm a littlish fella at 5'7" and not overly wide and damn those Recaros fit PERFECTLY. And seat too high? What a load of nit picking ballocks, at my height range anyway. Perfect. Comfortable as all buggery too.

Even the ST seats are awesome. I get in any other car and I move around so much I hate it. Drove the missus commodore and I just rolled around in the seat same as dad's bf.

Made it all the way out there
Mrs Cheech was kind enough to start the RS so we could have a listen
She is most definitely full of praise for the RS and clearly loves it
Nice vehicle
Thanks

No worries. Sorry i wasnt there for a few hours - had a hockey game.
Yeah, she loves the car.
If she could fit it into the bedroom she would, and I would be in the garage.

Wonder if the Mountune upgrades are close for Aus. While not the best in ultimate power at least a step up with warranty.

There was some comment by road testers for the ST's that didn't make a significant impression on them though? Yay or nay? Maybe the RS versions are also a fizzer?

I am indulging right now, have both in the garage, the RS seats are very nice and look great, those ST seats are the winner though

Odd spotto'ed a single one on the roads and find this in the street next to work...

The blue doesn't really stand out in the dull weather unfortunately (what does), be great to see it clean and in the sun. I'm in the school where i used to love the balls out look of the mk2's, mk3 still looks great but the muscular look of the mk2 would've really capped it for me. Instant recognition material the mk2.

Had the absolute pleasure of enjoying an RS last night. Both as passenger and as a driver. From an owner of both a BF Typhoon and a Fiesta ST, wow!!! This thing is all the hype, and way more.
What a time to be a Ford fan!

Think I will go and order one...

I don't usually use Forrest quotes but 'stupid is as stupid does' ;) The shocking thing is this did not happen in Australia, where of course with our tiny IQ's we cannot handle that button and it should be removed forthwith.

Waiting for Cadogan to post and say 'i told ya so ya morons'
