If you went back to the year 1900, and looked at the three types of vehicles available at the time (steam, electric, and petrol powered), the number in use, and how successful and reliable they were, you would guess (not knowing the future) that electric powered cars would come out on top. There were many manufacturers making them in large numbers, and they were very successful and quite common. Petrol powered cars were slow, unreliable, hard to run, and difficult to own (as in put up with on a daily basis). Electric cars were easy to own, clean (as in not oily and greasy and stinking), powerful, and ladies liked them as you could just get in and press the pedal and away you went...you didn't need an intimate mechanical knowledge or have to employ a driver just to own one.
Steam was the most powerful type of car, but they were also a bit fiddly to own and sometimes exploded in an extravagent way, but they were the "hot rod" of the day. The success of petrol as a power source for cars was hardly gauranteed in the early days of motoring. Now, back to the Epic Fails... Last edited by 2011G6E; 08-03-2011 at 11:31 AM. |

Not epic, or even that bad really. But tickford badge on a BA is a bit... strange.
I wish I had gotten a photo of the woman who left the bike there, she was about 6 foot 5, really butch and wearing a lara croft outfit... My old bumpstops :P

You haven't heard the best part yet. You can pick up the modded beast on carpoint for a measly $37,000 Or you can buy a stock Grand Cherokee for $8,000-$20,000 |

Sorry about the horrid quality (my partner mms'ed it to me). The only thing worse than being grossly overweight is being proud of it...
Sorry if it's a member here... but it's a big big fail.

Speaking of which the last few times I've been to Bathurst I've seen quite a few Commodores butchered, and molested with pro-Ford propaganda. One that stood out last year out was a VT wagon with ******* on the back, and a Ford badge. I just laugh, and wonder that it can't be too bad if it was the only car that got them there in the first place. I also assume they took off pretty quick after the race having to endure another Holden 1,2,3,4. Quote:
